I have now written this lovely big cryptic crossword themed around series 5 of #Taskmaster!

I had a lot of fun with this; I reckon there might be people out there who'll enjoy solving it, or even just having a look :)

Feel free to give it a go. Many answers guessable, some clues fun. Contestants' and hosts' names are a nice easy way in.

@ghostysapphic Whenever people do their lists of faves or, even worse, dream contestants, it's shocking how male-dominated it all is. Even in comedy fandoms a lot of people are just not willing to find women as funny or clever or lovable as men and it's so sad to see

@MissMarkillie @HareComedy I have vivid memories of trying to throw a javelin aged ~14, and the end of the javelin hitting me on the shoulder when it landed. i.e. I couldn't throw a javelin half the length of a javelin

@ChrissyD_Comedy Plus I'm nearly always aware I'm in a dream, so I spend a lot of the time trying to control them or second-guess them or being impressed with the part of my brain that's making the dream

@ChrissyD_Comedy Ooh I love this stuff. I have many many dreams about exploring/being lost in complicated old buildings, secret passages, many staircases. Also little shops with pretty little ornaments and things.

@HareComedy I'm baffled by this sort of thing. His accent has been Scottish the whole time! Slightly mixed with another accent, yes, but so was Capaldi's. Ncuti just changed into a stronger/different Scottish accent while being silly and that feels very natural for a Scottish person
