@terry16894591 @dstaples Woodcroft was fired because he benched Jeff Jackson's Lil darling connor brown after 9 games. Remember he had to play 10 to get the 3.25M dollar bonus. Woody got fired..knoblauch, another JJ client enters. Brown scored 4 goals..1M per goal that year. Bad narrative with the oil.

Jacking up rates and concessions...punish the lifeline of the season ticket holder by making resale tickets almost impossible because the Oilers took the profit

@dstaples @edmontonjournal 40 percent of the 2024 team that came within a period of winning the cup was traded. Jackson was 100 percent the culprit. He lives in toronto and flew under the radar and only appeared after edmonron snuck past LA in 2025. They were lucky. Kings should have won

Mcd was looking for a sign this year I doubt that Bowman didn't consider any intangibles when he shipped skinner and kulak out brlefore christmas. Weaker team. @byterryjones Issue right at the top. Extremely hard to fix now. Can't do it with free agents over 30 anymore. When Hawks lost debrinket, Dach and Hagel, wasnt SB the GM in Chicago? Maybe there is a trend. Sacrifice the future for the present..seems to have backfired..

@byterryjones I was a STHolder for 29 years..Ownership got too greedy.. huge rise in seasons tickets..punished their most loyal supporters. Never even a t-shirt or acknowledgement at 5, 10, 15, 20,25 year anniversary. Mngmt didn't focus on what's important. Broke team comraderie too.

@byterryjones Jj and Knob must go. McD is smart. He knows that JJ ruined this team. Destroyed comraderies..divided spousal friendships. Lost all youth. There was a time in '25 where McD was the youngest forwardr on the team. Yet the vets signed never got to play.. knob issue....

@byterryjones Woody fired after a win..he sat CB because he knew the bonus 3.25M would kick him after his 10th..so he sat him. Enter Knob,, former client of JJ. 2nd game Brown activated. 4M for 4 goals. Best PK in playoffs in 24. 25 diff story. No foegele, no mcleod.

@byterryjones Mcd and Drai have openly and not as subtly flamed management. Theyre dead right. Jj was likely brought in to try to secure McD. As was brown, as was Knob. The only Erie otter thst McD liked was Foegele. Woody fired after CB's ninth game after he sat him and wouldn't play him

@byterryjones Oilers are going to have a super hard time in the next few years. No 1st or 2nd round draft picks in the next 2 years. Most assets have no trade clauses..nothing in the pipeline except for H and H. Pacific division is leaving them behind. Even Cal has youth

@byterryjones Oilers were cooked 2 years ago in a day when JJ took the helm at free agency. After the cup run should have signed broe and hol. Could have signed them for half of what the blues offered. You dont change 40 percent of your team..trade all youth..depend on vets

@byterryjones Oilers are poorly coached. Knob doesnt seem to trust anyone except mcd and dtai. Bottom lines carried the team ..scored all of the goals in games 1 and 6 yet when they needed a goal or were defending when goalie was pulled., no where to be found.always drai and mcd.

@dstaples @edmontonjournal I think LeBrun has a point. Edmonton fans are being naive if they think mdD and drai are actually happy. Management has let the team down. One period away from winning cup in 24 and management changes 40 percent of the team...what in hell were they thinking???

They sign Holloway and broeberg before free agency for 2 yr entry-level deals and there would have been no qualifying offers. JJ overspent by 7M at FA day and screwed the oilers
