The highlight was that when I had the realization I was already over an hour from home so I called @timonmlee (also traveling) to call a neighbor to check but Timon almost didn’t ask because he thought I was paranoid. Timon asked, the neighbor checked, the cast iron was red hot.

@natgrace79 The student affairs exodus right now is REAL. thankfully my institution has recovered! We’re actually VERY low on housing rn and admissions is still…admitting… which is causing an unexpected type of nervousness around the office
