What does “One Nigeria” truly mean when the country is made up of diverse ethnic nations, civilizations, languages and traditions?
Unity should not mean cultural erosion, unequal power or the denial of indigenous people’s rights to their land and resources. True federalism requires fairness, autonomy and a meaningful share in national prosperity.
The lesson is clear: a lasting union cannot be built on slogans alone, but on justice, mutual respect and power-sharing.
10 things you need to know about arrest and search:
1. Search in a premises or house can be conducted between 5:00 AM and 8:00 PM, except the court directs or authorises otherwise.
2. Arrest can be done at any time of the day or night. No time that an arrest cannot be effected.
3. An arrest can be done with or without warrant. It is not in all cases that an arrest must be done with warrant. There are at least 10 instances that an arrest can be done without a warrant.
4. An arrest of one person cannot be effected in place or in lieu of another person or for the purpose of luring another person to show up.
5. A private person has the right or power to arrest another person upon reasonable suspicion that a crime has been committed, is likely to be committed or the person escapes from lawful custody. But the suspect must be handed over to the appropriate authority within reasonable tome.
6. A man cannot search a woman. A woman cannot search a man. Except there is no officer of the same gender to conduct the search.
7. The arresting officer must immediately inform the suspect of the reason for their arrest, unless they are caught in the actual commission of the crime.
8. A suspect must not be handcuffed, bound, or subjected to unnecessary restraint unless there is a reasonable risk of escape, violence, or for public safety or safety of the suspect.
9. To carry out an arrest or search of a person, access to a house or place cannot be obtained voluntarily. But where access is not granted, an officer may break open or destroy any outer or inner door or window of any house or place.
10. If the house or place is in the actual occupancy of a woman who by custom or religious practice does not appear in public, the officer must give notice to the woman that she is at liberty to withdraw before entering the premises.

Nigeria is poor because it is a rentier state that made horrible economic decisions for at least 50 years
One of those decisions was the corrupt subsidy regime,
>which led to never meeting fiscal targets >later leading to excessive printing, which in turn repeated devaluation and further mismanagement.
Nigeria has done this for decades upon decades until 3 years ago, and as a result, has under invested in security, education, health, power, infrastructure etc
Nigeria already developed a steel plant around the same time South Korea did in the 1970s, ten years after colonialism ended, yet due to foolish economic mismanagement and capital restrictions, investors chose South Africa instead. Today south africa is moving towards a middle income economy
As a result we never took advantage of the 70s to industrialize when it was relatively cheaper to do and there was less competition for capital
Another was the foolishly defended currency peg system, where we depleted reserves to defend an unsustainable lie.
Also I must correct the repeated Myth that Nigeria is an oil rich country
Nigeria has 250 million people and produces 1.7 million of barrels of oil per day. Revenue wise? It is extremely poor once you divide that by population
Saudi Arabia on the other hand produces about 10 million barrels per day and has a population of 36 million people
Qatar population is smaller than a municipal region in one singular state in Nigeria, yet it makes more oil revenue than the whole of Nigeria
This is just the easiest explanation for people that know nothing about africa in the 70s and 80s
The ancestors are back.
This dance steps are not taught anywhere anymore. The last time I saw people dance like this was amongst elderly Yoruba women in their 80s around 1997 at a Sango festival in Ibadan.
To see a young girl around 7 or 8, doing this flawlessly is scary 😦

…Yorùbá dùn oo
As usual, they are making excuses for their own, you better protect your own too 🤣
Once again, IF you allow these people gaslight you, It’s entirely YOUR Fault.
Awolowo said in his book, that one of the games Zik planned on Yorubas of that time was to get them to hate their leaders, get them to see their leaders as corrupt and incompetent, and then tell them leaders from other ethnic group can offer them better governance than their leaders.
Look at igbos today, that’s the same game plan.
Even tho their region is the second most backward, they will still tell you they have good governance to offer you.
Their game hasn’t changed, a lot of you just don’t read.
If you read books about the politics of first republic, igbos will never fool you. Because their game hasn’t changed still.
Tinubu got only 54 percent in his own South-West. Peter Obi got 88 percent in his own South-East. Atiku got 51 percent in his own North-East. Whilst the other two barely got half of the votes in their home region, Peter Obi tended to 9 out of every 10 voter in his.
Apart from Obi's 88 percent at home, no candidate crossed 55 percent in any region.
Tinubu and Atiku managed 10 percent combined in the South-East.
In the South-West, every one of the three men won at least one state. Tinubu took Ogun, Oyo, Ondo and Ekiti. Atiku took Osun. Obi took Lagos, the region's biggest prize and Tinubu's political home.
Yet it is the Yoruba who are told they need a lecture from Peter Obi on how to vote without bigotry. This video below isn’t an error, it is how @PeterObi has always played his politics. Being an Obidient is to embody bigotry as your primary identity.
I hope every Yoruba person can see beyond this thin-veiled insult, gaslighting and mumu-testing. Because if they can’t, they’d be the ultimate mumu-tool.
Every major ethnic group presented a candidate in 2023, the same has been repeated for 2027. BAT’s highest vote count from any zone came from the North.
APC is winning in his Cross River State; roughly 2 years ago, APC swept all the council seats in his state. Same is happening in the South East. Their governors and their people are now proudly APC. People are standing on the mandate across all 6 GPZs.
Guess the people he spotlighted for guilty-tripping?
Yeah right
When they say vote wisely, none of them refers to their LG chairman, State Governors, State House of Representatives or Federal House of Representatives.
They are all just focused on the Presidency and Lagos.
What's the 2-2-2-2 Rule for healthy marriages?
2 - Every two weeks go on a date.
2 - Twice a week be sexually intimate.
2 - Two times a year take a trip overnight without kids.
2 - Every two years go somewhere multiple nights without the kids.
The four 2's can bless your marriage.
