The ocean & forest are carbon sinks which means they absorb the carbon from atmosphere. When we cut down forest & burn trees we are releasing all that carbon into the atmosphere and a lot of that then gets absorbed by the ocean, resulting in ocean acidification #lesson11 #carbon

@andreea_phys273 Of the places I've travelled and taken public transport, I'm pretty happy with what we've got in comparison! Of course there can be improvements though. I would want dt to have the least amount of cars possible if anything. If it were pedestrian/cyclist centered thatd be perfect

@andreea_phys273 If it were designed as a biking city, which it isnt, we wouldnt have that problem. There are very loose rules that some dont think to look up + most existing bike paths arent designed well at all. Less cars on the road with cycling. Otherwise, you can stick to public transport
