Water, Sanitation & Hygiene stakeholders Networking Dinner: I urged stakeholders to align on clear priorities and invest in high-impact, integrated systems. With rising demand driven by urbanization and population growth, emphasis should be on coordinated action.
We should shift from traditional aid to private sector-led financing and innovation, with government providing direction and enabling investment through partners. The dinner fostered partnerships to set shared goals and drive collective action in sanitation.

Access to water is as vital as food, education, and healthcare—it’s a right that every child deserves.
On #WorldWaterDay, @UNICEF and @GovUganda are working together to ensure clean, safe water for children, women, and everyone.
#InvestInUGchildren
Lack of access to safe water is leading to spread of diseases, causing thousands of children across Eastern and Southern Africa to miss out on their education.
UNICEF is committed to ensure access to safe drinking water, for every child. #WorldWaterDay
Safe water is fundamental to a child’s health, nutrition, education, survival & future.
This #WorldWaterDay & every day, let’s commit to ensuring safe water #ForEveryChild.
Together, we can stop preventable waterborne diseases & ensure every child thrives.
