Wishing our Fenland #sugarbeet growers a happy #CelebrateTheFens Day today! Weโre proud to work with many farmers across this unique landscape to produce #homegrown sugar.
Great to see.
All our farms set aside land to provide food and habitat for pollinators.
Honey bees aren't endangered. But wild bees, like these, are and we are helping them thrive in the Fens.
Many other insects pollinate including moths butterflies, flies and beetles.
Feeding our farmland birds through the winter hungry gap. We use 3 tonnes of mixed grains grown in the local area by fellow members of the North East Cotswolds Farmer Cluster with funding support from FiPL. Farming with nature takes time and effort but we love it!

Here's something to lift the spirits!
Snowdrops are one of the earliest spring bulbs to bloom, providing a useful source of nectar for bees and butterflies such as the Red Admiral, Small Tortoiseshell and Brimstone. ๐ฎ
