@ArpandeepKhaira Hi Arpandeep, the drop in oil prices is 100% going to negatively impact Canada as oil is a major export. Having said that in the interim this drop may be beneficial for domestic manufacturers due to lower input costs, however its sure to hurt the overall Canadian economy.
For mental and physical health, it is important that everyone engage in physical activity, not just older adults!
Retweet if you're staying physically active during self-isolation! #EM203Robin

The stock market crash is not a signal of a recession in my opinion, it is merely a correction. So for people concerned about their portfolio I suggest the classic HOLD and WAIT approach. Look at the dow chart over the past 30 years... it's only up from here! #EM203Robin
Hi EM203, a lot of issues are important but one issue that is growing in concern is mental health. Check out the following to learn more about the importance of mental health and the lack of awareness. https://t.co/wPqf2G0Hph #EM203Robin
@EM203Erica can you expand on the mental health concept in your mind map? I think at the core of this issue is the problem of a lack of awareness and education. How do you think this lack of education impacts mental health issues? #EM203problems
@EM203Erica Hey! I think politics have a HUGE impact on the economy. Politicians define economic policies such as domestic trade as well as international trade. These two aspect just scratch the surface of the impact of politics on the economy. Can you think of other ways?
@em203_murba Hi Gurmeen, digital technology really is amazing! It gives us access to such great learning opportunities that would otherwise not be present. Something I really enjoyed in the last few tasks was learning how to knit a square by watching a YouTube video!
@hardi_patel04 Hi Hardi, I completely agree, in this day and age interactive, multi-media learning is inevitable, rather, I feel that it is an integral part of learning nowadays. It's efficient and engaging!
@Em203Noor Hey Noor, Twitter really is a cool platform and I'm glad I started using it through this course. Not only is it aiding my learning, it's allowing me to explore things that may not be available through other social mediums. Sudoko seems fun! In that lesson I learned how to knit!
@EM203TBonnell Hey Tushar, the first few lessons have been great indeed! It's so amazing learning new things that we can apply to our everyday life! I looked at constructivism and I too related a lot with my assigned learning theory. I also think I would relate to your connectivism idea.
@ArpandeepKhaira Hey Arpandeep, I enjoyed the lesson on learning a new task as well. I learned how to knit a square. It wasn't the best square but I had a lot of fun learning. You are 100% right, with the help of things like the internet you can learn anything! Looking forward to learning more!
My first lessons in EM203 have been amazing! I've learned so much about education and the learning process in the last few days! Reading about constructivism was amazing, especially because this theory is the approach I favour for learning! Can't wait to learn more! #EM203Robin
