When looking at my Twitter analytics, it is interesting to note that I received the greatest number of impressions during February, and that they tapered off throughout February. #EM203Robin
I heard a new term yesterday that describes a common form of racism experienced by Indigenous people in the healthcare system: acts of omission. It is when basic elements of care like history-taking, physical examinations, testing, referrals and consultations are not done.
This cite identifies the impacts of racism on Indigenous health, and structural changes to combat systemic racism towards Indigenous peoples in the healthcare setting. #EM203Research https://t.co/e1u9L0jFCL
@EM203Kerwin Hi Kathleen! I've also enjoyed learning about our digital age and plan on recommending this to anyone who asks me for elective advice in the future!
Hey, @em203mgerofsky! A solution to combat systemic racism of Indigenous people and access to health care could be implementing courses for healthcare workers to take to increase their knowledge about the community, and to prevent stereotyping. #EM203problems
Within the first 3 weeks of EM203, I have learned a lot about how learning has changed because of technology. My favourite thing thus far that I've learned about is the different methods of teaching, as everyone has different preferred ways of learning. #EM203Robin
@EM203bayleewest I found the different methods of teaching interesting too. I think everyone should be able to identify and advocate their learning style!
@EM203BAkhtar I'm excited to see what this course brings too! Technology can really enhance learning with all the resources available, especially YouTube videos.
@EM203CNguyen Hey Cleo! I agree that the first few lessons have been super interesting. It's cool to see how to include technology into our schooling considering how much we rely on it for other tasks.
The first few lessons of EM203 have been great! I'm excited to learn more about our digital age. I'll definitely be recommending this course to my friends! #EM203Robin
