In my #EM203 class we have been asked to find an experts opinion regarding a specific problem. My topic is on the impact of climate change and some solutions.
@MartinPhipps13 would you be able to answer this question. What differences can we make to reduce climate change?
I thought this was a good example of the little ways we can make a change. The environmental cost of having enough large screens would be equal to hundreds of posters. A good solution could be to make these posters recyclable and to have a place for them. #EM203Clarke
In Guatemala, there are almost no properly managed landfills and virtually no public water treatment plants. The result is a noxious chowder of sewage, industrial and agricultural runoff, and an ever-replenished flotilla of plastic trash. https://t.co/0NAQGu3OmC
A highschool teacher whose passion is looking out for his students and making rap music. A well-deserved win and cannot wait to see what his future holds now that he is the #champion of the first season of rap competition show, #RhythmandFlow. #EM203Robin
#EM203 Chris Boucher is a perfect example to never give up on your dreams and to always work hard and keep persevering. He started from the bottom now he here.
Don’t let anybody tell you what you can’t accomplish. Just a kid from Montreal and now an NBA Champion! 🇨🇦 Honored to share my story with @vicesports and the @nbagleague. Full video: https://t.co/A4GJKIgJJ3
@EM203ireneisk I think your mind map looks great, the one problem I found was you put "Addiction" as a whole other component, however it can also fall under effects of smoking. I also think you could've put "effects of smoking" and "youth and e cig" in the same category.
@em203mich I tried to sing a song in German which was actually harder than I thought it'd be, I would have done Sodoku but I've done it before, it is for sure harder than it looks.
@EM203WAnsari Thanks for responding to my tweet! Now in response to yours, I didn't realize there were so many learning theories until reading this lesson, so I completely agree with you.
@EM203kaylafab I also thought that this theory was interesting in many ways. I could relate to it in some ways as well and I thought the learning by doing theory interesting because of the fact that it can be related to this class in several ways but it is also related to everyday experiences.
@Em203Knoel I agree with you, I think it is a good way to keep us engaged in the course, because online courses can sometimes be difficult to keep track of, but I agree that lesson three challenged us in a different way and got us thinking.
@em203mstarbuck Hey Megan, thanks for responding to my tweet, I also enjoyed learning about the different learning theories and find it interesting to see everyones different opinions on the theories!
Throughout the lessons I have gained a lot of insight. My favourite lessons of the course was learning about the constructivism theory and how it was applicable to the way I learn a lot of the time, through the experience of others, as well as my own. #EM203Clarke
