The team are now having a meeting to discuss how the People's Vote campaign, which we all care passionately about and have dedicated our lives to in recent years, continues to be the largest and most vibrant political movement in the country. 7/7
The team are not prepared to wait around indefinitely for Roland Rudd to come and provide answers to our questions, so the overwhelming majority of the staff team decided to leave the building together. 5/7
This email invited all staff to a meeting this morning, which Roland Rudd cancelled at the last minute, despite promises made. Instead he decided to go on TV. 4/7
Late last night, Roland Rudd, as outgoing chair of Open Britain (one of the founder organisations of the People's Vote campaign), sent an email to all staff announcing a boardroom coup. He did this without consultation with FFS staff. 3/7
FFS was set up to put young and diverse voices front and centre of the People’s Vote campaign, it is because of the efforts of staff and our activists that we’ve been able to achieve this, not City PR Execs who rarely visit the office. 2/7
This is a crucial week for the campaign and the country. With everything to play for in our unstinting efforts to secure a People's Vote, the last thing anyone needs is to be distracted by a few individuals playing boardroom politics. 6/7
Sending my solidarity to @JamesMcGrory, @TomBaldwin66 and all the hard-working PV staff whom without we would be no way near even having a shot at a final say. Absolute bonkers move by Rudd - PV has and should always be bigger than individuals!!
This campaign is not owned by any one person. It belongs to the millions who support us all across the country, from the staff in Millbank and in the field, to the volunteers & activists, including the million who marched in London nine days ago 1/6
We are so close to Commons majority for confirmatory public vote on #Brexit - now is not the time for flaking off to pursue other agendas. No more distractions. Time to give @JamesMcGrory@TomBaldwin66 and whole team at @peoplesvote_uk the tools they need to finish the job.
I don’t pretend to understand all that’s happening (but it seems terrible politics, terrible timing & terrible way to treat staff) but what I do know is the team at @peoplesvote_uk are the most amazing, hardworking, committed people & doing a brilliant job - thanks to you all
It’s easily the greatest privilege of my professional life to be part of such an amazing team at the People’s Vote campaign. All this fantastic group of dedicated and passionate professionals want to do - and all we’ve ever wanted - is to campaign for and get a People’s Vote.
Race remained the most common motivating factor, with 2,048 racially motivated crimes in 2018/19, up 33 per cent from 1,537 just a year before.
It is a factor in two out of three hate crimes.

@BorisJohnson In a optimistic projection of post-Brexit Freddo prices, #FFS supporter @UWLSUPresident would spend £100m on 333m Freddos. What would you spend it on?🤔
Tell your MP to give the people a #FinalSay & stop the Govt wasting years more time & money on Brexit:

"Boris Johnson’s Brexit - which is simply a gateway to a devastating No Deal - is a million miles away from what was promised!"📣
#FFS supporter & @NUSUK VP @VPEricaRamos's speech at the #PeoplesVoteMarch 👊🏼👊🏼
With the government’s timetable falling apart, the economy at huge risk and a General Election unlikely to solve this mess – it’s clear that Brexit must be put back to the people.
