Actually, if you listen to the actors from any of those shows they may or may not elude to describe experiencing unfairness in their work places and how there were shows like Friends, Seinfeld and Roseanne, who were prioritized over them. They fought the system to be there.
The truth is, the 1990s and early 2000s were about as close to a colorblind society as we ever came. We didn’t see eachother as black and white in those days, but simply as fellow Americans.
Sitcoms at that time reinforced those positive views, like The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Family Matters, Sister, Sister, Martin - all focused on strong family bonds, aspirational themes, and uplifting stories.
Then Obama came, BLM came, the democrats became ultra-left and started causing unrest within the country. The mainstream media started brain washing people to look at color and “you ain’t black if you don’t vote democrat”. Anyone with a different opinion was automatically Hitler or a racist and facist, etc.
Hopefully one day we can get back to the old days where we all see eachother as fellow humans and Americans, and reinforce strong family bonds and kindness.
