@GOrwell2020@Romy_Holland Having lived here for 14 years, he's right. There isn't any vibrancy at all. It's kind of dull. Public events are lame, there's no real divergent cultural movements. Everyone goes through the same phases of life. Everyone is programmed to carry out the same plan. Kind of vibes.
@danyay@HikaruiTen Ive been living here for 14 years. It's temporary, believe me. I teach English and when students mention their parents age, they're always in their mid 40s (kids are 7 years old). Most have no siblings. The parents are not stacking kids at all. One is expensive enough.
@psyopdailynews@ItsDecado Iranians have to go through an elaborate VPN connection chain to get internet, and the few people who have it sell the connection for an arm and a leg.
@saylordocs I'll keep saying it everytime I see these posts. BTC has some weird pattern where it goes up for 1 year then sideways for 3. We passed the last year of growth and are gonna move sideways for 2.5 more.
@JskiUSA@mus_toyy You can take out a loan. Like a mortgage. But the bank holds the bag if the dude doesn't pay back. You can choose to just pay interest only. At 4% interest this would be like paying 300 usd a month for a 3 bedroom condo xD
@jojojojojobz@mus_toyy A lot of people get bank loans. Better that way, so the bank holds the risk in case of fraud. You pay the bank only for interest if you want. When you move out, bank gets the money back.
@obaoduduwa@1fastkeowee@BenjaminNorton@ryangrim Your stance is fine but overly idealistic. You gotta think realistically and consider game theory. If we allow them to continue as they are, America loses. We're at a crossroads globally speaking and it requires strategic repositioning. Be grateful if you're American.
@DFRafter530 There's giant mobs of street gangs with weapons bro. You can't just take their leader and put in some chick that they've been brainwashed to hate.
