Gatekeeping is the very last attitude you'd want because it becomes a slippery slope where things become unnecessarily strict.

The solution? Just... play the Sonic fangames if you're only there for that. There's categories and search functions. There's no shortage of them.

Having both indie games and fangames at SAGExpo is great because it shows have far the community has evolved. Taking away indie games and calling them "clickbait" is not only insulting to the devs but insulting to the community. You still get a ton of Sonic fangames per year too.

Also there's 114 fangames. 79 of them are related to Sonic/SEGA or are Sonic/SEGA fangames (which almost all 79 of them are).

You have countless games to play. Go do that.

@Aspiring_hero Unfortunately we have hit a bit of a snag with the development. We're aiming for a new demo next year. Despite that, we have some good stuff in progress!
