Many years ago @steveathanas and I worked on a unique idea for the @BostonVMUG. Building community is what associations are all about and Steve continually focuses on helping others connect, learn, and grow. Steve, thanks for all you’ve done for the community.
Here we are on day 8.
One of the #vMemories that I'll never forget was talking with @EmHender early on about an idea for an "After Hours" networking event after our @BostonVMUG UserCon.
This became something big and was the prototype of our community hour to end UserCons.
“My team will never have the opportunity to grow and show their capabilities if I’m always there jumping in at every opportunity.”
An excellent reminder (and blog post below) by my friend, @steveathanas, on keeping our promises to ourselves when it comes to time off.
I am horrible at disconnecting when I'm supposed to be on vacation. I even worked on my honeymoon.
This week on the blog, I spend some time working through why that's a bad thing, and what I'm doing to improve.
