@siwelwerd "You'll only get the grade you've EARNED" etc is... mostly a way to avoid thinking about the subjective nature of all grading and the power dynamics of academia, IMO. (Also, there are better ways to avoid grade negotiating than this dictatorial stuff.)

@zacarias_cabron Some people considered filing a complaint abt our local's staff in the last round of contract ratification fuckery, but I don't think it went anywhere due to, like, obvious reasons (lack of resources, despair, etc). Godspeed if you try it though 👀

@zacarias_cabron Not the same but some 2865 members appealed the 2018 contract ratification for reasons including staff fuckery (I think - it's been a while since I read the appeal) and the result was, of course, "we investigated ourselves and found that we did nothing wrong" lol.
