In one morning, Khirbet a-Taban was erased.

Israeli forces demolished every home in this Masafer Yatta community — 12 families, about 70 people, including 28 children — and left them with nowhere to go. Residents say they were given no time to save their belongings. Homes, water cisterns, sheep pens, storage, and caves were destroyed with them.

This is not an isolated raid. Rights groups say it is the 66th Palestinian community fully emptied in the West Bank since October 2023. Israel calls the area “Firing Zone 918.” The same hills keep filling with settler outposts and farms.

Imagine watching the house your family built become rubble before noon. Imagine children sleeping outside because their water tanks and shelters were crushed. That is what happened in Khirbet a-Taban.

This is forced displacement. Say their names. Don’t look away.
