@prodnose Standing on the shoulder of a drainage ditch just beyond where the groundsel grows. The weight of dark clouds blanket the nearby fields and autumn, wearing a challenging stare, advances from its lonely office.
@elonmusk A Little Musk
High forests heave and shadows cry
To echoes of his name.
A time for truth to disappear,
A time when facts are slain.
But who was he who bought the news
To post his lies and air his views?
Which lays the truth beneath the ground
Without the ticks we knew.
@elonmusk Your words had been carefully versed-
With bullshit they're liable to burst.
With lies planned to conquer,
For quotes that are stronger...
A sad little man with a smirk.
@GMB
Plans to boost UK steel production?
Half the steel we use to come from UK manufacturing...
at last!
A government prepared to ditch the ideology of Thatcher's free market economy.
@GMB It might be a good idea to have a chat with David Taylor, MP for Hemel Hempstead, who wants to knock down the moth-balled Hemel hospital and all of its wards.
@doctor_oxford Hi Rachel, you may be interested in a poem I wrote during Covid...as we approach the deafening silence of a former Prime Minister and his entourage.

Hi, I wonder if you can help? I came across this structure whilst walking my dog. Is it safe? The concrete column on the left is badly out of plumb and its connection to the horizontal beam at the top? I’m sure it was never designed to be constructed like this…

Hi, I wonder if you can help? I came across this structure which I believe to be potentially dangerous. The concrete column on the left, from ground to connection is massively out of plumb and the connection to the top horizontal beam???
@JohnCleese MUSK
Keys click,
Tongues flick,
In hateful rhyme, precisely plucked
Controlling R and an A that sucks
The air and smacks the startled C
Contorts the veins of I and T
That sit aside, uncomfortably dressed,
The choke-hold of the frightening S.
