Arrived on ward to a card from a patients husband, the wife had unfortunately passed away and he took time out of his day to not only recognise the support healthcare professionals had given to his wife but to also write me out a card to say thank you as well 🥲❤️

@NurseTutor_Sara She has CF and a double lung replacement and so in case she has any lung issues they want her to be in the right place, however there is an in house cf team that can visit her and support the nurses with her care on a different ward.

I have had the best first day I think I’ve had since starting in healthcare! I’ve been able to achieve a lot, I’ve met Some wonderfully helpful people and been reminded why I love this job and how much a kind hand means and what it can achieve !

New goal new bio, after failing my last nursing exam by two questions and a few months off I’m now getting ready to start my nursing associate apprenticeship in the morning with nerves and excitement ! Dedication, passion, family and friends is all it takes ❤️
