We are excited to announce our sponsorship of @rainbowcharity's brand-new calendar for 2025!
We are looking forward to continuing our partnership with this fantastic charity that supports adults and children with neurological and other disabilities.

The 3 year time limit for CQC prosecutions is absurd, even the CQC itself agrees it’s not long enough. @wesstreeting please do something to change this
The call for an urgent investigation into Sussex Maternity services continues as our clients, Chloe Vowels and Robyn Davis, urge more parents to step forward and join them in their calls for a review.

with handovers etc, precious time is lost, and that time is crucial, it can be the difference between a baby being born safely and healthy, to a baby sustaining serious injury or dying.
I wholeheartedly support this campaign. I live in Banbury (not far from the Horton) & on a good day it takes at least 35 minutes to get to the JR. Obvs 🚑 can get there quicker, but… 🧵

if there is a fetal medical emergency during Labour, evidence is that every minute counts, so even if a laboring mother is transferred quickly (assuming the ambulance is available to take her straight away to the JR)…. 🧵

"A Mumsnet survey last year found that a quarter of mothers said the maternity care they were given left them or their baby in danger, yet they were derided as drama queens if they complained"

I hope any change is properly implemented, that this isn’t pushed into the ‘long grass’ because the longer it takes for there to be positive change, the more women, their partners and babies will suffer from #BirthTrauma
Just some eg
- Not my baby, not my problem
-If we give everyone pain relief it will bankrupt the nhs
-Lady please cover up, we have builders coming in
-One patient in labour was bleeding heavily onto the floor, and the response…to clean it up herself

When Chloe tragically lost her baby Esme in 2022, she recalls being ‘gaslighted’ by every medical professional. She now joins the call for an independent inquiry into the University Hospitals Sussex NHS Trust’s maternity ward. #BirthTraumaInquiry

Lots of noise about the NHS Constitution. Just for clarity the NHS routinely, in fact daily, fails to meet existing principles in the constitution. It is a document so distant from the reality of busy medical wards that it's value is minimal:
One of our Senior Associates, Amy Milner, has worked with our charity partner @CerebraCharity to publish an article into intrauterine growth restriction and neurological injury.
