Rest in peace, Dr. John Greenwood, Professor Emeritus of Psychology.
He touched the lives of many while he graced our community from 1986 to 2018. An unceasing advocate for our students, he was the first faculty member to receive the Distinguished Lasallian Educator Award.
I’m tired of being scared and I know that goes not only for the Asian community but for other minorities as well. If you don’t see these issues as a major problem in our country- please unfollow me because I don’t have time for your ignorance. ✌🏼
I’ve been pretty quiet for myself about the recent attacks against Asians as of late. It’s painful. It’s painful to have grown up seeing and experiencing micro aggressions that everyone brushed off because “Asians aren’t real minorities”. Well we are and we’re here to say that
the violence against our people must stop. It is weak and ignorant to attack us based off the toxic rhetoric of an impeached orange with shitty hair. So what’s the point of this tweet? I don’t consider it advocacy or sympathy seeking but more just expression of exhaustion.
