Nobody fought harder than me during the two year UEFA ban in the 2020 case, and I was there through all the relegation news too. Back then I had so much more free time especially school days.

This time, though, I have a football career to focus on. Yes, I’m going to achieve it. 👍🏻

I have a job and studies coming soon. There’s no way I’m going to be here for however long this appeal takes. I’ll be back smiling after this case, and I’ll be talking to you all about football and Man City again. Don’t worry.

And honestly, some people at the club need to leave regardless. The damage has already been done.

Because the reality is, we could now be looking at another two or three years of our club being dragged through the mud.

That would mean 10 years of this club constantly having to deal with legal cases, accusations, politics and everything that comes with it. I’m exhausted.

As a content creator, I already spend enough of my time talking about Swedish politics and everything going on there on my TikTok. This account was supposed to be my escape from all of that.

It was supposed to be where I could talk about Manchester City, football, matches, players and the things I actually enjoy.

Instead, I’m now potentially looking at having to deal with this for years as well.
And that’s what hurts the most.

We’ve already been dealing with this for three years.

Three years of waiting, arguing, defending the club, seeing headlines, seeing people talk about us and constantly having to explain ourselves.

And now, just when we finally reached the appeal stage, it looks like we could be waiting even longer.

I’m not going to lie this has completely killed my motivation for this account….never thought I’ll ever say it.

Things have been going so well for me here and on TikTok.

I’ve been enjoying creating content again. I’ve been enjoying the community.

I’ve been enjoying talking about football.

And now I’m sitting here wondering whether I even want to continue.

I have a genuinely difficult decision to make, and I’m going to take a few days to think about it properly.

Before the international break is over, before the Liverpool game, I’ll decide whether I’m going to continue with this account or take a complete break.

If I do take that break, I’ll remove the blue tick and step away from everything until this situation has either calmed down or, preferably, the entire appeal process is finally finished and we can move on with our lives and talk about football again.

Because there is a limit.

I’m a Manchester City supporter.

I want to talk about football. I want to celebrate wins, complain about performances, discuss transfers, talk about our players and enjoy supporting my club.

I don’t want to spend the next three years talking about lawyers, court cases and legal proceedings.

And yes, I know you can support your club without being on social media. Maybe that’s exactly what I need to remind myself of.

What frustrates me even more is that this could have been the moment where we finally started putting all of this behind us. Instead, we’re potentially facing years more of the same.

Like I said, I’m going to think about it.
Because it’s genuinely a shame.

Things were going so well for me. I had my motivation back. I was enjoying this again.

And now this feels like the final straw.
