Still thinking about that time when I, as an adult with a master's and 2-3 years of xp, was told in an interview that "if I found roommates" I could afford to live on the piddly salary they offered. #Millennials
@JillMarieRichar @janjowen @actressdancer78 Haven't seen these before, but my guess is it's a standard LP, Google says likely 78 rpm. What country/state do you live in, are you willing to mail them? I can recommend digitization services that we've used at work (I'm a digital archivist, my mum didn't mention that lol)
@JillMarieRichar Five and nine. We're lazy bones 90% of the time but manage to get everything important stuffed into that 10% when we're off the walls. Problems come when I want to be efficient and he wants to see things from every perspective. And when our 10% energies don't match up.
According to the calculations of my retirement account company, I should be saving exactly all of my current paycheck to go toward retirement. But there's definitely nothing wrong with the economy or US workforce. 🤷♀️
@ByronsShade @JillMarieRichar You are correct! The bicentennial info at least places it in the 70s. And the context of the other letters about the bicentennial preparation place it as late as 1974. Can't figure out a start bracket but I'm assuming small stakes bicentennial planning didn't go back to the 60s
Me: Oh, it's lunch time. we should eat that salad in the fridge before it goes back.
Also me: yes, I totally agree that making a chocolate peanut butter brownie pie for lunch sounds 💯
