That is all to say I think we are heading towards a coalition government next election with either reform or the greens. Luckily in the UK we don't quite have a 2 party system yet and the people still have the power to influence policies with peaceful protest

Personally I think although we are at a very scary point in UK politics where the far right is rising in popularity.
Labour is losing support with unpopular policies all across our liberal media landscape who seem further and further out of touch.

The greens are rising in the polls, we need to campaign and spread awareness that the positive change people actually wanted to vote for is in the greens and other leftist parties springing up, if Labour are smart they won't try and out flank the right on immigration, austerity..

I've found myself deeply disappointed with the entire Mr Beast/Ava situation. As a community we often don't get to choose who gets the most attention. Ava in many ways fell into the spotlight by simply being friends with the biggest youtuber in the world and then transitioning. We didn't choose Mr Beast as the person we wanted to rely on defending trans people, it just happened that he stood up for Ava upon her coming out. I've never been a Mr Beast fan but I can't pretend I wasn't happy to have such a big creator be openly supportive of their trans friend.

The entire Mr beast crew has an extensive edgy and problematic history online that could always have been weaponized to damage their reputation, but I'm disappointed the weaponization has only successfully worked now because Ava is trans. I'm disappointed in how easily they've crumbled under pressure from a quite frankly transparent opportunistic attack. I'm disappointed to see no comment on the insane levels of transphobia motivating this. I expected almost nothing and I'm still let down.
