In 2024, less than GH¢320 million was allocated for compensation at the Office of Government Machinery, covering 8 agencies, 357 political appointees, and 564 civil staff. At the time, we were told the Akufo-Addo administration was reckless with taxpayers' money.

When this government took office in 2025, it promised Ghanaians a lean government and reduced public spending. Despite having only 4 agencies, 233 political appointees, and 575 civil staff at the Office of the President, it allocated over GH¢2.7 billion for compensation.

The price per bag of cocoa has been reduced from where they met it at GH¢3,100 to GH¢2,500, even with the reduction farmers have gone over six months without payment for cocoa beans already purchased.

Households are paying more for water, electricity, and petroleum products, teachers, nurses, lecturers, and other public sector workers have also gone months without receiving their salaries and allowances.

Meanwhile appointees of this government are living good lives sharing the taxpayer's money among themselves buying 50k award for Self-aggrandizement while floods and galamsey activities are destroying our beautiful country right before our eyes.

It has been over 17 months since they took office, but the flagship 24-hour economy they promised Ghanaians is still nowhere to be seen. Instead of returning to the people to apologize for failing us, they are rather arresting ordinary citizens who speak out against their government's performance.

Akufo-Addo spent GH¢326.9 million on compensation for the Office of the President with 8 agencies. Mahama is spending a whopping GH¢2.711 billion with just 4 agencies, an increase of over 729% in compensation allocation from 2024 to 2025.

They promised a lean government that would cut waste and reduce public expenditure. Yet the compensation allocation tells a different story. Fewer agencies should ordinarily translate into lower administrative costs, not a dramatic increase in spending. The NDC has scammed the whole country.

1. A stage-managed arrest upon arrival.

2. Taken to custody - police and prison.

3. She will feign a serious illness.

4. She will be rushed to a private fully air-conditioned ward at Korle-Bu, UGMC, or Lister Hospital.

5. She will file an appeal to have the 10-year jail term quashed.

6. Nolle prosequi will be filed by the AG.

7. The case will be quickly thrown into the garbage can.

8. She will walk free.

9. The stolen $6m taxpayers money will be yaamutu.

10. In the full company of her friends, family, and ndc stalwarts - dressed in all-white apparel - will go to church and thank God for her freedom.

So, let's not waste our precious time and energy being jubilant over this extradition because we currently have John Dramani Mahama and his bunch of infidelitous crooks in power.

The youth of the @NPP_GH must take ownership of Dr. Bawumia’s campaign. If we leave it in the hands of some of these senior party figures, they’ll sell us out for their own interests.

Even supporters of the umbrella party know that their content creator appointees have failed, yet some of our own people are the ones singing their praises because they wants to maintain their friendship instead of exposing their failures and defending the NPP.
