#AuburnWorldHistory “They have no desire to be typed within, or set apart from, bounce culture; and indeed, within New Orleans itself, they mostly are not “. How empowering. They are taking charge in their own way.

#AuburnWorldHistory “…hip-hop culture is one of the most unrepentantly homophobic cultures in America, surpassing even its own attitudes toward women in bigotry and smirking advocacy of violence.”

[Emma Bollinger @EmmaBollinger19]

#AuburnWorldHistory Hip hop has been used to talk about the hardships of todays world (for example: the oppression taking place on the poorer classes of the US).

@taylergagliard2 #AuburnWorldHistory I agree to a certain point. I think when conflicting debates about neoliberalism occurred that people began to choose sides and make decisions of how they wanted to live individually and then it built up to a communal way of life.

[Emma Bollinger @EmmaBollinger19]

#AuburnWorldHistory Why did the world become more regionalized after the Cold War? I think its due to WW1, WW2, Vietnam War, and other great tragedies in the 1900s. Countries needed to reconstruct themselves independently

[Emma Bollinger @EmmaBollinger19]

#AuburnWorldHistory “I think we’re seeing a regionalization of global power structures within the state system — religious hegemons like Germany in Europe, Brazil in Latin America, China in East Asia.”

#AuburnWorldHistory It’s interesting that Ford’s production reorganization brought change to even politics. “Fordism”.

[Emma Bollinger @EmmaBollinger19]

@tayloralbro6 #AuburnWorldHistory I agree with you. I think it’s over dramatized to fit the fears that people felt during the time.

#AuburnWorldHistory You can feel the nerves they are feeling while the captain talks to the crew.

[Emma Bollinger @EmmaBollinger19]

#AuburnWorldHistory To see the living conditions of the poo let’s and other flight crew in the air is crazy! Takes a special type of person to do that for their country.

[Emma Bollinger @EmmaBollinger19]

@Court_Martin_ #AuburnWorldHistory I agree. I can’t imagine what they were feeling leaving this homes and belongings

[Emma Bollinger @EmmaBollinger19]

@Court_Martin_ #AuburnWorldHistory I agree. I can’t imagine what they were feeling leaving this homes and belongings

[Emma Bollinger @EmmaBollinger19]

#AuburnWorldHistory There’s a pattern that people would often travel at night. Its almost like in the darkness when nobody is looking is when they could escape.

[Emma Bollinger @EmmaBollinger19]

#AuburnWorldHistory When reading these stories, you can really picture the situation they are living in. You begin to feel the depths of fear/ anger/ sadness too.

#AuburnWorldHistory “Yet the Haganah, a paramilitary organization that later formed the core of the Israel Defense Forces, saw the British withdrawal from Haifa as an opportunity and carried out a series of attacks on key Arab neighborhoods”

[Emma Bollinger @EmmaBollinger19]

@BlueHeron3812 #AuburnWorldHistory it shows how woven their culture is to the land they farm.

[Emma Bollinger @EmmaBollinger19]

#AuburnWorldHistory 1881 Russian czar assasinated. Massive Jewish immigration 2-3% go to Palestine. “Ray of Hope” going to holy land

[Emma Bollinger @EmmaBollinger19]

#AuburnWorldHistory in Palestine culture self worth was found in what you can give your children and next generations
