Take a bow British tennis wildcard Arthur Fery. Wimbledon semi finalist! He is currently ranked 114 in the world. He will pick up £900,000 for reaching the semi finals - more than his entire career earnings so far. What a story.

Yvette Cooper wants us to think the problem is not declaring gifts & donations from the super rich, rather than taking gifts and donations in the first place.
Understandable when you remember Cooper herself took over £200,000 from a billionaire to fund staff in her office
So let me get this straight, everyone turned up to Makerfield to give @andyburnham some legitimacy as he gets crowned leader of the @UKLabour politburo, but when @Nigel_Farage tries to pull the same trick, the establishment runs like cowards.
There’s a serious conversation to be had on the “right” a conversation @Nigel_Farage may not want to have, but the voters of Clacton deserve to be heard, rather than used to upset Westminster.
It’s a shameful dereliction of responsibility and duty to ignore a perfectly legitimate by election.
Britain is on the brink. Where are the @Conservatives and more importantly where is @RestoreBritain?
I’m not sure politicians refusing to turn up to elections is a great look.
Especially given as politicians are employed by the electorate.
🚨 Roy Keane on Argentina vs. Egypt:
“Once is a mistake. Twice, maybe. But when it keeps happening, you have to start asking questions. An Argentina player appeared to slap an Egypt player, and the referee ignored it. There was a foul in the penalty area—at least go and review it.
That’s what VAR is there for. If you’re only reviewing incidents for one team, then what’s the point? It felt like Argentina started the game with an advantage before a ball was even kicked, and that’s the referee. That’s not how football should work.”
🚨 How often do teams playing in World Cup quarterfinals get booked:
🏴 England - Card per every 7 fouls
🇲🇦 Morocco - Card per every 9,8 fouls
🇧🇪 Belgium - Card per every 10 fouls
🇨🇭 Switzerland - Card per every 11,5 fouls
🇫🇷 France - Card per every 12,2 fouls
🇳🇴 Norway - Card per every 13,6 fouls
🇪🇸 Spain - Card per every 17,5 fouls
🇦🇷 Argentina - Card per every 22 fouls
Long before daybreak, thousands of fans were already standing in Wimbledon’s famous queue. Meanwhile, influencers with no love for the sport skipped every hurdle thanks to sponsor invitations, walking straight into Centre Court. That says everything about Wimbledon in 2026.
Scottish “nationalist” won’t support England because we colonised them (we didn’t) but they’ll support Norway who actually did colonise them, strange bunch
Fizeram um compilado de 4 minutos mostrando os lances em que a Argentina foi favorecida contra o Egito.
Simplesmente um escândalo mundial. Quanta sujeira envolvida. 🤢
🚨 José Mourinho on Argentina vs. Egypt:
“This is daylight robbery. It’s a shame what football is becoming. How do you let the play continue, allow the goal to be scored, and only then decide to go back and cancel it? If there was a foul, stop the game immediately. Don’t wait until after the goal.
Then I ask another question—why wasn’t Argentina’s first goal reviewed with the same attention when it looked very close to offside? Why was every incident involving Argentina checked, while Egypt didn’t seem to get the same treatment?
VAR is supposed to bring fairness, not confusion. Today, it looked like every important decision went in Argentina’s favour. Football deserves better.”
