Thanks to @ARNnet for the chance to share my story, as a #WIICTA#entrepreneur award winner. I'm grateful for the opportunity to lead @Digivizer through our next acceleration, and to be part of an industry bursting with innovation, courage & collaboration. https://t.co/4eCC8eNMd6
Recently heard Eric Bailey speak. He’s overcome adversity most people couldn’t imagine, yet speaks with remarkable clarity and no self-pity.
What stayed with me: the story you tell yourself shapes your decisions, actions and results.
And telling someone “I believe in you” can change far more than you’ll ever see.
Recently at the Mentor List CEO Mastermind, hearing Pip Marlow and Julie Coates was a masterclass in leadership without ego. Honest reflections, clear vision, deep listening, transformational leadership and genuine recognition of their teams. A lot to reflect on and apply forward. Mentor List
A teacher compared student writing from a decade ago to what they see today. The difference was stark. Students raised on short-form content and AI recommendations are struggling to build and sustain an argument from a blank page. The same gap is showing up in marketing teams. When AI generates content at volume, constructing a clear recommendation from scratch becomes a scarce skill. The ability to go deep is becoming a competitive advantage.
Across CEO conversations in the US last month: lots of AI proofs of concepts, very few scalable programs behind them. Same pattern as every technology cycle. Moving fast has value when you're testing. It gets expensive when execution runs ahead of strategy. Plan, plan, plan before you execute. It feels slower at the start. It isn't.
My kids used to say, “You’re not like other mums,” with disappointment. They still say it now, but with pride. The guilt is real, but not useful. A fulfilled parent raises children differently from a depleted one.
Five times last week, I tried to spend money online and couldn't. Dead links, broken checkouts, ads pointing to the wrong product.
These brands were paying to reach me. Walk your own customer journey before you touch your media budget. The breaks show up fast.
Great to catch up with Wendy Fung from @Lenovo in LA. @Digivizer has been working together since 2013 and the best partnerships are the ones where both sides keep asking how to do better.
Excited for what comes next.
Caught Maybe Happy Ending on Broadway. Earned its Tony Awards, I can see why.
I couldn't help but think about it within today's AI context. What remains human when intelligence becomes commoditized? Technology can simulate interaction. It cannot replace trust or shared experience.
Spent a day in LA presenting and workshopping with the @AllianceEntrtmt team on why most B2C eCommerce growth fails and what actually works. High energy, great conversations and immediate wins on the table by the end. Nothing replaces getting in a room together.
Great to catch up with Jacqui Nelson from @DekkoSecure in New York and find ourselves both at the JEGI LEONIS Media & Technology Conference. Seeing how far DekkoSecure has come in the US government sector is a testament to what Jacqui has built. Always great to swap stories with founders doing it all.
I scroll past “this isn’t X, it’s Y” posts every day. It screams AI. Cognitive psychology explains why: lead with what something isn’t, and that’s what sticks. Our Digivizer data agrees—clear POVs win. Say what you mean first. @_TCglobal

Years ago we put @Lenovo devices on Toni Maticevski's runway — models filming the audience, streaming live, devices gifted to top fashion influencers in custom skins. Well ahead of its time. Just caught up with collaborator @ThomWhilton in New York. The best creative partnerships cross decades and regions. Excited for what comes next.
@Inc asked nine leaders how they’d spend an extra $1M on social + influencer marketing. Lots of events, creator factories, episodic content. What’s missing? The customer. The programs that compound are win-win-win—creators have ownership, customers get real value. Discipline > budget. https://t.co/8v2wOmVRiV
The @FinancialReview says performance reviews are broken. True, but not because of process. The real issue? Leaders giving feedback without believing people can grow. That belief (or lack of it) shapes everything. First get hiring right, then lead by supporting your team members genuine growth and success. Investing in people can give the greatest return.
Your CFO doesn’t care about engagement rates. They care about CAC and LTV. If you can’t answer those, budgets get cut. The metrics that matter tie to outcomes, not activity. Know which signals you’re funding - those that predict growth, not just measure noise.
Uncertain times may be the best time to get clear on who you are and win new customers. Focus on what compounds: brand, thought leadership, and relationships with existing customers.

AI is being adopted rapidly across every industry, but before you automate anything, figure out what value you might be destroying that isn't showing up on a spreadsheet. Ask your team what they actually do that never makes it into a job description.

Grateful to be a finalist in the #Martech category alongside so many impressive women, and proud to lead a team where 55% are women including senior leadership roles.

When you're running a business, carving out time for strategy matters but some decisions need space. Just finished 2 days with our senior team on an offsite to get clearer, sharper and aligned on what we’re building next. Grateful for the team.

International Women's day is this weekend and this video is doing the rounds. It's a reminder of the disparity many female leaders still experience and how we need to keep the conversation up so we can put it all far behind us.
