Weeks of heavy rains have left the Pentecost Junction–Agape Road in the Ga Central Municipality in a deplorable state, disrupting transport, increasing business costs and delaying access to healthcare.

Residents and motorists say the stalled road project is taking a heavy toll on their daily lives.

Commuters, business owners and healthcare workers share how the deteriorating road is affecting livelihoods, emergency medical care and the local economy, while municipal authorities explain why work on the project has been delayed.
