Today @ta_appg releases a report that examines the current state of temporary accommodation in England. We are calling on the government to amend the Social Housing Regulation bill to include TA and lift standards for the 96,000 households living there.
“This data shows the children we’ve lost, the families forever changed because of temporary housing and poverty. As a doctor this is a health issue caused by social factors that can be prevented and stopped.”

@speleeds1@theipaper@Victoria_Spratt This figure isn’t just the fact that children happened to live in temporary accommodation when they died- temporary accommodation was deemed to be an actual contributing factor to the vulnerability, Ill health and death of 34 children. This figure should be zero- so devastating
New & Exclusive in @theipaper with @Victoria_Spratt.
