So many precious things happened today honestly. I had a student who I haven’t seen in over a week and he ran to me this morning and said “I missed you so much! You’re my best friend!” Little man really does know the way to my heart

kids are so observant and aware of changing situations and their emotional response today was so pure. I miss them already

Today was also really hard. Schools in my city are virtual for at least two weeks. It was chaotic to say the least and the last time I was told “two weeks”, I never saw my kids again (2020 teaching lol) one student came to me when they were leaving and said “I need big hug”
