I’m not going into who or what this is about, because the principle matters far more than the names involved.Defending basic human values should never be reduced to fandom, loyalty, bias, or which “side” someone belongs to. We may belong to different fandoms or groups, but we are still individuals with our own thoughts, consciences, and boundaries. We have every right to speak when something matters to us, even when our views differ from those around us. Most importantly, people should not be reduced to their worst or most controversial moment. If someone has shown support, solidarity, or integrity in the past, one action you believe was wrong does not erase everything that came before it. Accountability matters, but so does context, so does fairness, so does remembering that people are more complex than a single moment. We can disagree without dehumanising. We can hold people accountable without rewriting their entire history.
Humanity matters and Jungkook teaches us about that in everything he does.
Doing the right thing should never depend on whose side someone is on.
