We also found out Lloyd got frequent panic attacks and lost a lot of sleep from his visions which can affect his mental and physical state, this could cause him to go crazy from the lack of sleep and anxiety that he got from the visions.

we saw this in most of part 1 of s2 and a little in s2 part 2 when he saw he was going to fight Zeatrix and lose in the treatment.

I believe over time Lloyd would be driven to madness from his visions because as much as he try's to find peace with them they still do come at will and he has no control when or what he is going to see. which does drive to make poor choices and puts him on edge most of the time.
