If you are believing the conspiracy theorists who are now trying to claim that no Amish children are diagnosed with cancer, autism or diabetes, because they are all unvaccinated, then you are falling for an anecdotal study trap and misinformation.

Fact is there are Amish kids who are diagnosed with these things.

Only 14% of Amish parents completely opt their children out of getting vaccinated, according to a 2011 study.

There are many documented cases of cancer in Amish children including the fact that the Amish have unusually high rates of juvenile leukemia according to a 30+ year old study.

Additionally we have to keep in mind that the Amish lead lives that are much more clean, physical, and away from electronics than compared to other Americans.

Just because a group of people may see less of a certain type of disease than other groups, that doesn't automatically mean it's because they are unvaccinated (which they generally are not).

It's like saying Amish people don't get autism as much because they don't drive cars and instead ride horse and buggies. No scientist would conclude that horse farts are preventing autism and cancer, right? Real science matters.

Two weeks after the crash that killed Biden’s wife and young daughter, Joe was sworn into the Senate at the hospital, where his two surviving sons Beau and Hunter were being treated.

Hunter has struggled with drugs and is on the road to recovery despite stumbles along the way.

The Bidens are an imperfect family just like yours and mine. There are hardships and pain but there is always love and compassion.

Not only does Biden understand the human experiences he has lived it. His default is to make things better for all.

You just voted to gut affirmative action and student loan forgiveness.

Let’s take a look how you got into Yale, shall we?

During your 58-page concurring opinion, you wrote that the foundational policies of affirmative action "fly in the face of our colorblind Constitution and our Nation's equality ideal.”

But Justice Thomas, we did a little digging and it turns out that Yale university followed an affirmative action policy at the time you attended its law school.

There’s more.

In 1991 a New York Times article about you reported that Yale University officials confirmed you were admitted to its law school "under an explicit affirmative action plan with the goal of having blacks and other minority members make up about 10 percent of the entering class."

It appears clear from the testimony of Yale officials that your admission to the Yale School of Law was made at the time of affirmative action policies and was almost certainly influenced by it.

We should also mention that
you secretly accepted $150,000 in tuition payments from rightwing billionaire Harlan Crowe, but you just voted to strike down loan forgiveness for students who need it.

There is something absolutely tragic about the fact that the benefits of
affirmative action helped create a Justice Thomas who will now deny many young African American talented individuals the same opportunity.

Justice Thomas, if you’re so against affirmative action, I suggest you resign from the Bench.

I have three grown sons now who are working in electrical engineering, teaching, and science.

I helped put all three of them through SUNY Universities. Not the same as those fancy ivy league colleges, but not cheap either.

It wasn't easy. I lived in a furnished room for years to be able to afford it. But I'm extremely proud of them.

That said, I bristle whenever I hear someone say "I had to pay my way through college, they should too."

There's so much wrong with that statement, but for starters, nobody was talking about footing the whole tuition, just a measly $10K. College kids are spending well over 10 years paying back their debt, it's ridiculous.

But you don't hear those same jerks complaining about rich people like Tom Brady or clowns like Marjorie Taylor Greene getting her $200K PPP loans forgiven.

I'd much rather my tax dollars go towards giving needy college kids a break than helping millionaires and billionaires finance a new yacht under that fucking GOP tax scam.

I definitely won't forget about how Republicans shafted the younger generation.

I hope they remember in 2024.
