Health disparities impact NHPI communities throughout the U.S. and result in shorter lifespans and affect our overall quality of life. Improved access to health care is essential.
The NHPI community is often overlooked and under served as a result of a lack of high quality, disaggregated data for different subgroups acknowledging the rich diversity of the NHPI population in America.
Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) is the world's largest military exercise that takes place in the waters around the Hawaiian Islands. Almost 30 different countries participate in this exercise which is hosted by the Commander of the United States Pacific Fleet.

Kanak are fighting for independence from France. Like many of our Pacific Islader people, autonomy over the land and resources is vital to their existence.
Part of our fight for social justice means abolishing the systems and ideologies that dismantled our traditional ways of being and reclaim our true culture.

To understand gender identity and diversity is to understand our Pasifika people.
Māhū and non-binary identities have always been a part of our Pasifika culture. American and Christian culture have influenced how our people perceive gender and sexual identities.
Our moana nui has more than 10,000 islands, each with unique customs, creation stories, and culture. As NHPI communities in diaspora, we must stay connected to the waters that bind us.
