CBP hailed the seizure of the 3,000 counterfeit Gibson guitars in an official press release. It was carried out in conjunction with representatives of the legendary guitar company.

If the alleged criminals had succeeded in selling of the guitars as authentic, the haul would have amounted to a value of $18,742,820.

The fake instruments were brought into the United States via ocean containers originating in Asia. Their successful seizure totally destroys the MAGA lie that Democrats aren't taking action to keep our borders and import channels secure.
