STAARManji Day 3: It’s all about adding/ subtracting decimals, gallery walks and immediate feedback for S’s to self monitor/ adjust. The goal was to have students transfer their math to a completely different paper for solving and have discourse with peers on the process! 💪🏼🤩

@kolda_cadets has a true hidden gem! @Lindsay_Hull came to visit my 5th graders today to talk about the Geological Time Scale, evidence of past ecosystems and different types of fossils! The kids got to explore her fossil collection and they loved every single moment!

Today was the grand reveal of our “There is Love Among Us” class door. Students drew a name and wrote a letter of appreciation, anonymously. My kiddos were so excited to come to school today to read their letter! They are determined to figure out who it’s from! 🥰 @kolda_cadets

Today I took a break from teaching 🤣 and let @kolda_cadets take over! 🤭Topic: Patterns on Earth. The task: Create a Live Action model to demonstrate and teach to the class. The outcome: students learning from each other and taking ownership of their learning! 💪🏼🤩
