@the_snickman I'm one of those people
Loved the film but the opening was paced far too quickly, there needed to be more time for character development prior to the attack
It's been a while since I last shared one of my 2D roughs from Gumball. This one is from "The Summoning".

@TriplesX3 Sucks that The Thing was the movie that got the harsh contemporary reception instead of this, that movie is a genuine classic and a properly terrifying and unforgettable experience.
@TriplesX3 While I can't disagree that it set the standard for slashers and has a place in history, it 100% isn't a good film lol
I've said it in a million tweets today but this film suffers, and I mean *suffers*, from bad acting, clunky dialogue and a repetitive soundtrack.
same decade as Dawn of the Dead, The Devils, Hausu, Phantom of the Paradise, Suspiria, Eraserhead, Texas Chainsaw. There's no competition, Halloween gets washed every time. Influential for sure but it's just "fine," and for damn sure not the best Carpenter flick
@mattscfc_@JoshHoagland1@feltoland This, this right here.
The score itself is peak, but jesus christ it's repetitive as hell, I understand that this is a low budget film, but any semblance of effect the tracks had the first time around is gone the fifth or tenth time they're used.
