As we welcome another year, we pray that God will give you the grace and strength to continue, move forward, or begin again this year 2022.
Happy New Year!
We are chosen, hand picked, cleansed, and made new. No matter how dark and cold your world may be, let this be a reminder and security that it was God who called us to bask in the warmth of His light and pass on this torch, too.
We can still celebrate Christmas no matter what we are dealing with.
The truth is, the world didn’t just become a dark place recently; it’s been dark since sin entered it. The very reason why Jesus came was to shed light into this fallen world.
"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light." (1 Peter 2:9)
With all the turmoil and unrest right now, you may be one of those who don’t have much to expect this Christmas. Or you may be someone who has had a good experience of this season so far and are excited for what’s still to come.
As Super Typhoon Odette left parts of the Philippines devastated and many families affected, let us continue to pray for our nation and help those affected by the typhoon.
Lord, we pray that You be with those affected by the typhoon. You are Immanuel, God with us. May Your presence, love, and comfort surround them. May You restore what they have lost. Fill them with strength and hope. In Jesus' Name, we pray, amen.
“No one can tell you “how” to be merry this Christmas dahil alam mong hindi lang upuan ang nabakante ng mga taong namayapa, pero may malaking espasyo sa puso mo na nabakante rin.
Jesus is the Prince of Peace—the only one who can bring wholeness to our lives and our being. He came to give us assurance that we can experience wholeness and peace despite the brokenness and chaos in the world.
He sets the solitary in a home, thus, bringing us to a spiritual family. (Psalm 68:6)
He satisfies us with good things (Psalm 103:5). When we open our eyes to things we can be grateful for everyday, we will recognize this in the midst of any circumstance.
