Look I'm not going to bring a child into this world just to suffer all their life. I'm not talking about down syndrome. I'm talking about a kid like my cousin that died at 16 because he had major birth defects and many mental issues he wasn't able to ever live on his own. He could even go to bathroom on his own.
No matter how you put it no sensible human would ever want to live like he did. To be mentally a toddler all of your life is not a life no matter how much you want it to be.

Illinois is suffering from our government going "green" and wanting to shut down "dirty" power plants. Well the decided to penalize the "dirty" power plants immediately instead of waiting for the nuclear power plants to be built and then penalizing them. So now they closed their doors 8 years early. They are also opening hundreds of data centers a year at this point making the residents of Illinois foot the cost. My power bill last year was over $500/month with 4 people living in the house.
If the government would open power plants before the data centers were allowed to draw on the power grid no one would really care.
