🚨 We want to address the misinformation currently being spread regarding Aegis.
Some community members have shared posts claiming that Aegis was launched by us or is secretly connected to Ice Open Network / Ice Labs.
This is false.
Aegis is not our product.
Aegis is not launched by us.
Aegis is not the product we referred to in our recent announcements.
We made it very clear that the new product we launched on Monday would not be revealed publicly yet. We also explained that it is being launched under a separate product brand, the same way Online+ has its own name, brand, and domain while still being part of Ice Labs.
Unfortunately, instead of reading the announcements properly and waiting for facts, certain individuals decided to create unnecessary speculation, spread misinformation, and drag an unrelated project into baseless accusations.
That is unacceptable.
We also want to apologize to the Aegis team and community if they received negative comments, accusations, or harassment because of false assumptions made by people connected to our ecosystem. No legitimate project should be attacked because someone decided to turn speculation into “facts” without doing proper research.
Regarding our former CMO, we are disappointed to see her continue spreading misinformation and creating confusion around ION. This is not the first time we have seen narratives pushed in a way that damages the project, the team, and the community.
How can someone like her claim to stand for transparency and values.
Instead, we have seen comments removed from her channels, members of her own community blocked from participating in discussions, and conversations restricted when questions or facts challenged the narrative being presented.
This does not help the community.
This does not protect ION.
This only creates more FUD.
To everyone in the community: please read our official announcements carefully.
We said the product would launch on Monday.
It did.
We said the product name would not be revealed yet.
That remains the case.
We said it is a product brand under Ice Labs.
That is still true.
We are keeping the product private for now because the current level of FUD, personal attacks, and unnecessary speculation proves exactly why this approach is needed. Our priority right now is to protect the work, protect the launch, protect the team, and give the product the clean start it deserves.
Our goal is not to satisfy every demand for immediate disclosure.
Our goal is to save and rebuild the project with real products, real revenue, and real utility for the $ION ecosystem.
We will share more when there is something meaningful to share.
Until then, please stop turning assumptions into accusations. If you care about ION, focus on facts, official updates, and the long-term direction we are building.
We are here.
We are working.
We are protecting the project.
And we will continue moving forward.
Zeus
✨ Even though it is Sunday, I have personally spent more than 20 hours yesterday and today making sure everything is prepared for Monday.
I am honestly very hyped about tomorrow.
The next two weeks are extremely important for us and, in many ways, they will help define the future direction of $ION.
For those of you who have ever run ads or marketing campaigns before, you will understand what I mean when I say this: promoting Online+ through platforms like Google, Meta, and other major advertising networks was extremely difficult because of the nature of the product and its connection to crypto.
That created real limitations for us.
We could not properly promote it, scale campaigns, test audiences, optimize lead costs, or reach users in the way a normal product should be able to.
What we have built and are launching tomorrow is different.
From the beginning, this product has been designed with advertising compliance in mind, so we can finally run proper campaigns through platforms like Meta, Google, search, social, and other business acquisition channels.
The goal is very clear:
Bring in real users.
Generate real revenue.
Create real utility for the $ION ecosystem.
My focus right now is simple: I want the company to generate revenue without needing to sell a single token anymore.
Once we reach profitability, we can move with more strength into the next phase: token appreciation, buybacks, burns, deeper utility, and long-term ecosystem growth.
I want this project to succeed more than anyone.
I want you all to know that I am doing my best, every single day, to beat what sometimes feels impossible.
What I can promise is transparency.
Positive or negative, I will keep sharing the progress, the data, the feedback, the next steps, and what we are learning along the way.
These next two weeks will show us a lot:
Whether the product is strong.
Whether acquisition costs make sense.
How real customers react.
What feedback we receive.
What needs to be improved.
And how fast we can turn this into a profitable growth engine.
What I can say already is that we are pioneers again.
This is something new, something nobody else is doing in the way we are preparing to do it, and that is one of the reasons we are keeping the product name private for now.
Not because there is anything to hide.
But because we want to protect the launch, protect the team’s work, and avoid unnecessary FUD around a product that deserves a clean start.
New product.
New brand.
Same company.
Just like Online+ has its own name, brand, and domain, this new product also has its own brand and domain.
That does not mean it is separated from Ice Labs.
That does not mean anything strange is happening.
It simply means we are launching it properly for the market it is built for.
Tomorrow is the beginning.
Now we execute, measure, improve, and prove.
💫 We owe you an apology.
One week ago, we said Phase One of the new ION direction was expected to launch within two weeks.
We were wrong.
Phase One is already finished — and the controlled launch is scheduled to begin first thing Monday.
That means we are moving one week earlier than expected.
Over the past week, our small team pushed harder than ever. We have integrated AI deeply into our development, QA, testing, iteration, documentation, and automation workflows.
In total, last week, we processed more than 17 billion AI tokens across agentic development pipelines, automated QA loops, regression testing, edge-case simulations, code reviews, optimization tasks, technical documentation, campaign preparation, and product validation work.
While we were sleeping, our agents were still working.
Testing.
Breaking things.
Finding issues.
Re-running flows.
Improving outputs.
Validating user journeys.
Preparing the product for real clients.
This is exactly the speed we were missing in the past.
We had strong ideas before, but we often lacked the execution velocity needed to bring them to market fast enough. This time, things are different.
Phase One is not a hype launch.
It is a controlled launch with a small initial client base, where we will calibrate campaigns, optimize acquisition costs, collect real feedback, improve conversion flows, and validate demand with actual users.
The goal is simple:
Build a product that brings real utility, real monthly revenue, and real value back into the ION ecosystem.
This new direction is connected to the AI industry, but it is not dependent on crypto hype, KOLs, market noise, or empty speculation. It can be marketed through real business channels, including search, social, and direct acquisition campaigns.
We have already prepared multiple campaign angles. Once we begin collecting data, I will share updates as transparently as possible: what works, what does not, what we are improving, and how the product is performing.
Some people will say this is just marketing.
That is fine.
If it is only marketing, it will not survive contact with real clients, real campaigns, real feedback, and real numbers.
The project is 100% open-source under the MIT license and will be shared publicly at the right moment.
For now, we launch, measure, learn, improve, and grow.
This is the rebuild.
This is the speed we needed.
And this is how we make ION stronger, sharper, and useful again.
Zeus
💫 Over the past month, we have been working on a new direction for ION — one that I personally believe can define the future of this project.
This time, we are doing things differently.
In the past, we shared too much too early: teasers, plans, timelines, and details before products were fully ready. We learned from that. This time, we build first, launch first, prove first, and only then reveal everything.
Phase One of this new product is almost ready and is expected to launch within the next two weeks.
The product is connected to the AI industry, designed to generate revenue from day one, and built to bring real utility and long-term value back into the ION ecosystem.
Unlike previous initiatives, this does not depend on crypto KOLs, hype cycles, or market noise. It can be marketed directly through proper business channels, including social and search campaigns. This was something we could not realistically do with Online+ due to the nature of the product and the restrictions we faced with major advertising platforms.
Once the campaigns begin, we believe it should take around four weeks to validate the product, the demand, and the market response.
For now, because of the aggressive FUD and unnecessary attacks around ION, we will not disclose the product name publicly until the right moment. The product is being launched by Ice Labs under a separate brand, as it is focused on AI and not directly branded as the ION Chain.
This approach protects the launch, protects the team’s work, and gives the product the clean start it deserves.
I will keep the community updated step by step as we move forward. Once we prove traction and growth, we will reveal more and bring the community fully into what we are building.
In around six weeks, we will have a much clearer answer on where ION stands and what this new direction can become.
I am more confident than ever that ION can come back stronger, sharper, and more focused than before.
Now it is up to the community to decide: believe in the rebuild, or watch it happen from the sidelines.
Zeus
👉 A personal note on the noise, the lies, and why I’m still building
Lately, I’ve received a lot of hate, FUD, and even death threats from certain people in the community. Some of those threats have already been reported to the authorities.
Despite all of that, I’m still here. I’m still building. And I’m still ignoring the noise.
What I’m seeing lately is not criticism grounded in facts. It’s conspiracy theories, hallucinations, and people repeating accusations they never took the time to verify for themselves.
So let’s address a few of them directly.
1) “You rugged the community”
This claim falls apart the moment anyone looks at the public history of our work.
We started building this project at the beginning of January 2022. We made the code public in March 2023. That is easily verifiable on GitHub across all repositories related to Phase One.
For example, when we made the mobile app repository public, it already contained 229,000 lines of code written by our team during that period:
https://t.co/owyHa16Fyy
Since then, our team has written millions of lines of code across the broader codebase over the past four years.
So let me ask a simple question: does it make any sense that a team would invest years of work, millions in cost, build publicly, show its faces, attend conferences, go live on streams, and continue shipping for years — only to “rug” at the lowest point?
If the goal had ever been to scam people, there were far easier moments to disappear. We did not disappear. We kept building.
That matters.
The work was real. The cost was real. The commitment was real. And it has all been visible for anyone willing to look.
What is not serious is hiding behind anonymous accounts, refusing to verify public information, and then throwing around the word “scam” as if that replaces evidence.
2) “You changed from ICE to ION so you could mint tokens and dump on the community”
This is another false narrative pushed by people who either do not understand how bridge contracts work, or do not care to understand.
We did not migrate from ICE to ION because of some secret plan to mint coins and scam users. We were sued by Intercontinental Exchange over trademark infringement related to ICE. That legal battle went on for years. We won in the US, and then the fight continued in the EU. Based on legal advice, we changed the ticker from ICE to ION. That is why the migration happened.
Reference:
https://t.co/E8JT6llSxv
Now let’s address the bridge contract allegation clearly.
The fact that the ION BSC bridge contract contains mint functionality does not mean we can mint unlimited tokens whenever we want.
That is how bridged assets work.
The ION bridge between Ice Open Network and BSC follows a lock-and-mint / burn-and-unlock model:
When a user bridges ION from Ice Open Network to BSC, the original ION is locked on the Ice Open Network side.
Then the corresponding bridged amount is minted on BSC.
When a user bridges back from BSC to Ice Open Network, the bridged ION on BSC is burned.
The original ION is then unlocked on Ice Open Network.
So yes, the BSC contract has mint functionality. It has to. That is part of bridge logic. It does not mean the team can arbitrarily create supply out of thin air.
This is visible in the verified contract code on BscScan, where minting is part of the bridge mechanism involving validation logic and functions such as voteForMinting, not a simple owner prints tokens” button:
https://t.co/HCg4pdmAx6
The total supply remains 21B ION. Bridging does not create extra supply. It mirrors already locked tokens across chains.
And if anyone wants to verify major allocations and wallets independently, they can do that on our official whales page:
https://t.co/PHDchnhF27
You can clearly see the main pools there, including:
Elector — staked coins from community users
Rewards — community rewards pool, vested and locked
BSC Bridge — coins allocated to bridge activity to BSC
Team — team allocation, locked and vested
Ecosystem Growth and Innovation — locked and vested
Treasury — treasury allocation, also locked with vesting
These addresses can also be cross-checked against our Coin Economics page:
https://t.co/ODJAmLOZS7
Everything is public.
The contract is public.
The distribution is public.
The allocation model is public.
So before repeating the claim that “the team can mint unlimited ION on BSC,” verify the data first.
3) “You stole $50M from investors in your previous project”
This is another lie that keeps getting repeated by people who read one headline and then build a fantasy around it.
I have never hidden the fact that I worked on another blockchain project before this one, and I have spoken openly about using the lessons from that experience to build ION better.
The false “$50M stolen” narrative comes from a PR article that said we had raised approximately $50M. The reality is much simpler: at the time, we were in discussions with potential VCs who had shown interest. The money was never actually raised.
That headline created a completely false impression, and now years later some people are using it as if it were proof of a crime.
Use common sense for a second.
If someone had really stolen $50M from investors while being publicly known, publicly visible, operating openly, and continuing to appear in public, do you seriously think that person would just be freely walking around with no consequences?
The answer is obvious.
No money was stolen. No $50M raise was completed. That narrative is fiction built on a misleading PR statement and amplified by people who want drama more than truth.
4) “You’re a hacker, ran a botnet, and all the rest of the nonsense”
This is another story that has been twisted far beyond reality.
Years ago, there was an article about a business I was involved in within the IP industry, and ever since then some people have used that to paint me as some kind of criminal mastermind. It is nonsense.
What I can say is that in competitive internet industries, smear campaigns are real, trust attacks are real, and dirty tactics are common. I’ve seen that firsthand. A lot of people online read one article, make zero effort to understand the context, and then confidently spread the worst possible interpretation as if it were fact.
Again, use logic.
If I were what some of these anonymous accounts claim I am, do you think I would be operating publicly, showing my face, speaking live, attending events, and continuing to build in full view?
People are free to question me. They are not free to replace evidence with fantasy.
Where we are now
As we announced a few days ago, we are not going anywhere.
We are still building.
Yes, for the time being we have chosen to develop closed-source, and we will make things public when we are ready. This time we are taking a different approach: building products that bring revenue and utility from day one, with a strong focus on users outside of crypto so adoption can be much broader and much faster.
My history has taught me something very clearly: the bigger the project, the more noise comes with it.
More lies.
More hate.
More people projecting their own frustration onto the team that kept working while they were busy posting theories.
That changes nothing for me.
We will keep building.
We will keep shipping.
We will keep fighting when necessary.
And we will not stop because anonymous people on the internet decided to confuse fiction with facts.
If you want to criticize, do it with evidence.
If you want to verify, the data is public.
If you want to spread lies, at least understand that I’m not going to bend to them.
I’m still here.
Still building.
Still moving forward.
That’s all that matters.
🧑💻 An Update from the CEO
Over the last two days, we made the decision to continue — and more importantly, we acted on it.
We have already restructured the company and reduced operating costs from roughly $400,000 per month to around $45,000 per month. This was not easy, but it was necessary. We moved fast, cut deep, and focused only on what is essential.
The last four years taught us many lessons, but one stands above all:
A good idea means nothing if execution is too slow.
That is the lesson we are taking forward into this next chapter.
Our priority now is simple: focus on a fresh direction that can rebuild trust in the community while also generating real revenue for the company. We are no longer interested in wasting time, energy, or capital on anything that does not directly move us closer to product-market fit and sustainable growth.
I will personally be joining the development effort to help bring this next product to market as fast as possible and to work directly with the team on execution. We are not going to repeat the mistake of overpromising before delivery. We will not reveal what we are building until it is ready. For those who still believe in us, stay with us a little longer — and when the time comes, we will show you.
To move faster, we will be building this product in a closed-source environment during development. That decision is purely about speed and execution. Right now, shipping matters more than optics. Once we are live, we can focus on opening things up properly.
We are now a smaller team, made up primarily of developers, and our time will be spent exactly where it should be spent: building. No distractions. No wasted effort. No unnecessary overhead. Just execution.
Whether people choose to stand with us or not, we are moving forward with this plan. We are going to take this shot and see it through. Once the product is live, it will be something that can be marketed far beyond the crypto industry, which gives us a much stronger path toward real adoption and sustainable company revenue.
At this moment, the company still holds a little over 1 billion $ION. These tokens will be used only to cover essential development and infrastructure costs. Because the previous service agreement has ended and that external funding is no longer available, we will be activating an automatic daily sale of $1,500 worth of tokens to help fund operations at the current market price. This is not a choice we make lightly, but it is the practical path that allows us to keep building over the coming months.
Over the next 4 to 8 weeks, you should expect to see major changes across the website, the whitepaper, and most importantly, the launch of the first version of the new product.
Our goal is clear: go live fast, get real feedback fast, and scale 10x faster than we did in the past.
What we are building is a real utility product with real-world use, something unique within crypto and something we believe the market genuinely needs.
Once it goes live, we believe adoption can accelerate faster than anything we have done before — because for the first time, our growth will be driven by real utility and real demand, not just belief alone.
To everyone who has stood by us for the past four years: thank you.
Give us 4 to 8 more weeks.
That is all we ask.
Stay with us, watch what we build, and witness how we turn the hardest moment in this project’s history into the foundation of its strongest chapter.
We are still here.
We are still building.
And we are not done yet.
Thank you for the support.
$ION is Top 1 on Kucoin Gembox with some good whale activity & great buy volume.
good comeback so far. Let’s keep it going & erase all that red from the past 48 hours.
@ice_blockchain
✨ After listening to the community, we’ve made our decision:
We stay. We build. We win.
We’re restructuring the company from the ground up.
Cutting waste.
Dropping distractions.
Doubling down on what actually matters.
No more dead weight.
No more inefficient spending.
No more side paths.
Just a leaner team, better execution, and total focus on scaling.
This is not the end of anything.
It’s the beginning of a stronger chapter.
$ION is here to stay.
The road to $1B market cap begins now.
🤖 We’ve seen your comments and messages. Some think we slowed down or stopped building.
The reality is the opposite. We’re fully focused and moving faster than ever.
👨🏻💻 Today we’re opening another repository, showing the progress from the past weeks and making public the new AI-built ecosystem, including both backend and frontend for Online+ and the ION dApp Framework.

This is real work, real code, and real progress. You can see it for yourself.
We’re here. We’re building.
🔥 The first $ION protocol burn is live.
Through our partnership with @ice_blockchain, fees generated on Bao Rush now fuel daily $ION burns, every day at 9:00 AM UTC.
Today's burn: 22.93M $ION. Txid: 0xe61de74bd49cc0c8ff39456e9537e4ee844fd67b4fefd004ba146366110428fa
Deflationary by design. Bullish by nature.
🤖 This week marks 4 years since the first line of code for Ice Open Network was written.
It’s been a journey full of ups and downs, but one thing never changed: we kept building. We stayed focused, ignored the noise, and kept moving forward.
We started using AI heavily in 2024. Over the last few months, we pushed it much further and began using it to write code. It was not easy. Building complex systems with AI is still difficult, and the output is not always reliable.
But after a lot of work, we built a flow that changes everything for us.
@Bao_Rush went from zero to live in 10 days, built by just 2 developers, one frontend and one backend, fully with AI using prompts only, with no human-written code across the entire stack.
From on-chain to backend to frontend, the entire product was built with AI.
That’s right. 10 days. One frontend dev. One backend dev. Live product.
As builders, we saw the shift early. And we understood that if we want to lead, we need to be among the first teams using AI as close to 100% as possible in the product development process.
At the same time, we also learned the limits of current AI models. They are still not great when working inside large existing codebases. Accuracy drops, complexity rises, and instead of speeding things up, they often introduce bugs and friction.
That is exactly why we made the decision to rebuild the entire ION Framework from the ground up with an AI-first approach.
This will allow us to ship features, updates, and utilities every week instead of every few months.
Since last Friday, the team has fully shifted to building this new framework. Our goal is to make it open source in the next 2–3 weeks, when we expect to be close to launch.
Tokenized Communities are also being rewritten from the ground up to be fully compatible with this new stack.
Some may ask why we did not launch Tokenized Communities first and only then make this move.
The answer is simple: if we stayed on the old path, we would still be weeks away, with the whole team blocked on a stack that would slow down everything that comes next. With this new AI-first approach, we can build faster and, more importantly, keep launching new tools and utilities for the coin one after another without waiting months in between.
Realistically, if Bao Rush had been built the traditional way by just one frontend developer and one backend developer, it probably would have taken at least 6 months.
I’m very confident that we are entering a new phase, one where we can build and launch at a speed that simply was not possible before.
While others are waiting for AI to fit into their old codebases, we are rebuilding the stack to be AI-native, scalable, and ready for the future.
The future is bright.
