@onlykohly The fact that before 2014 everyone used to do this. And no one found it odd to critisise the government. Now its portrayed as a huge crime.
People used to be able to question the govt. Reporters used to ask tough questions to PM directly to their face without fear.
@yoursnandieni Issue: It should not remain a national app but a global.
UPI works because its mainly used and intended for domestic use. Most people don't have to send money abroad.
Now Social media etc.. requires global users to be good. Hence more difficult . Nationalism can't market it.
@itsvidsss Well, take the bullet out of the chamber.
If there is no internet blackout then there is no scope for starlink.
No one will use it for regular use as its way too expensive.
@user_reddy 1.0: For accountability and correction of education minister
2.0: For Accountability and Correction of Election Commissioner
Both are the same cause.
@stocksbyrishabh How long high security can be held. So imagine this.
Protest announced for Monday, Security is put in place, but protest is moved to say Thursday, then next Monday etc...
Will Delhi be closed as long as this continues? Not possible. Govt have to resolve this through dialogue.
@amit_code If this needs to happen, Govt first needs to invest in IT sector and promote startups. Build a factory to supply before cutting out the existing suppliers. I am in IT sector so I know many of the Indian IT companies are worse than govt offices and can't handle anything like this.
@Coldries Problem is when someone criticises the govt. The govt supporters simply attack and insults them without even thinking about what the person said.
Now this in turn results in the person defending themselves by not acknowledging the other side. Hence the effect you see

@RakeshK32229480 I think focus should be on Appointment aspect.
Like appointing to a independent post by ruling party alone by definition makes the CEC post holder depend on a party support. How can he be expected to be independent?
After the protest, Crackdowns should also be taken up as a issue
@LiveABitMore Good points. Rare to see such reasonable people on this platform.
Some things I oppose the currently are:
1. Crackdown on protestors. Right to protest must be protected.
2. CEC appointment by ruling party alone and giving absolute immunity lifelong.
@Pavan_07goyal Finally a BJP supporter who is reasonable.
Agree - opposition is weak & probably can't run govt. But giving too much power to one party will inevitably backfire. Need a balance.
Here the issue is EC, Maybe making CEC election more fair is not an unreasonable demand?
@pushpendrakum Govt was always ready to bail out large corporates who fail and provide support to them but never give support to new businesses. Maybe providing a interest free loan to startups instead of giving lakhs of crores for bailout or freebies might result in some development.
@pushpendrakum Reason is that the government priorities and funding always have been misplaced. UPA and NDA are both guilty of that.
Freebies and prioritising things like religion over industries have taken its toll. Lack of support and incentives to take up entrepreneurship also issue,
@debajena12 News flash : X is owned foreign company (Same Elon who owns X)
All day to day thing you probably use are all foreign Google, Email, Most Social media applications, even enterprise application etc.. all foreign.
So data is already going outside.
@stocksbyrishabh Q: Chief Election Commissioner and Other Election Commissioners Appointment Act (2023) was it passed by CIA or BJP?
Q: Isn't this bill the root cause of all the problem? If appointment of CEC was independent and if CEC was not given absolute immunity, then no problem. Right?
@Vishaaakhaaa Its not opposition its the citizen, the people. Irrespective of their political allegiances have came out in support of the movement.
Irony is one of the reasons of the protest is that Modi placed CEC above the law. So you telling no one is above the law is 😂😂
@Oxygen18_ Here is the thing. Police can be deployed temporarily for few days or even few weeks. What after that? The frustration of youth will not go away. Unlike the other generations they will not be fooled by Godi media.
Will they continue to keep the garrison in Delhi for years?
