Academy Award-winner. Shit-talker. Screenwriter. Historian. Musician. I’ve probably pissed you off. I also talk movies, music, Fortnite, or other odd ramblings.
Well, Hyper Relevisation is by far the worst Eve 6 album. It’s not rock rhythmic; it’s just noise. Rock noise. I’m not trashing rock: I’m from Detroit, one of the birthplaces of American rock music, but I wanted to turn this album off before the first song was even over.
I know they just do it to make more money but I fucking love that they’re putting movies back in theaters for their anniversaries. Some movies (lowkey all) just gotta be experienced on a big ass screen loud as hell.
Being a cinephile is way more rewarding when you stop worrying about what films are “the best” and instead focus on the movies that interest you. You don’t have to force yourself to rewatch the Dune movies because everybody hypes them up. Find your niche. Pursue your obsessions.
Just finished this. Although it was gaudy, it didn’t need the interspersed love triangle. Jimmy Stewart and Cornel Wilde were the showstoppers. Just like The Great Ziegfeld and An American in Paris, it unfortunately won because of spectacle, not because of showmanship and talent.

A win that still sparks debate.
Note: This was the first Academy Awards ceremony ever to be televised, reaching millions of viewers across the U.S. and Canada.
