As to the water, I swapped maps because I was having issues with guards getting stuck in water, but the vibe is wrong without water so I'm working to bring it back.
@BoatbomberRBLX I appreciate the response, that makes a lot of sense. Also feels a lot more doable now.
It's a good reminder that having knowledge isn't necessarily as important as knowing how to gain it.

@DevMashmello On #2, I agree, it can definitely be tricky to find or build something that is appropriate for the space and fits the style well.
I've found Pinterest useful for getting ideas. For style though it's just trial and error unless you can find a good reference that matches the style.
@DevMashmello Oh yeah, NPCs can be difficult. Anything in particular about designing them that you've found especially difficult?
