She wouldn't rate Victoria's roads out of 10 either, and she won't match Jess Wilson's $5 billion pledge to fix one million potholes. Her reason: "I won't be matching Liberal and One Nation cuts". One Nation has never governed Victoria, so there are no One Nation cuts to point to. The Premier reached past her own record to swipe at the party now beating her in the polls.

And that's the real story. Victorians are so done with answers like these that One Nation now tops a state poll before even naming its candidates. The pothole state has stopped listening to the parties that built it.
