Exciting news! 🚀 Our study on stone management in pelvic kidneys—the largest to date—is out in the World Journal of Urology. 
A huge thanks to the 11 international centers for this global collaboration! 🌍🩺 
Key Findings:
• Best Results: Multimodal-guided PCNL achieved the highest stone-free rate (86.7%) with fewer ancillary procedures. 
• Challenges: Flexible ureteroscopy (f-URS) showed lower efficacy due to complex anatomy. 
• Safety: Complication rates were low and comparable to anatomically normal kidneys.

Very #Low #Power #AEEP (30w) &
276m Fiber Laser P-ThuFLEP
w/ the new #Pulsed #Thulium:YAG

The 276m Fiber Laser is better known for making #fURS because of its diameter, allowing good irrigation & vision for #stone #lithotripsy.

On the other side #AEEP is commonly performed w/550 m fiber laser.

With no doubt it is possible to perform adequately a very low #AEEP w/ Pulsed Thulium:YAG from @DornierMedTech & a 276m #fiber #laser

The question is: it is recommended?

Well, thee is not evidence that support it.
