We must pass my bill A.8635 to ensure formerly incarcerated women who were sexually assaulted in New York’s prison system and who filed #AdultSurvivorsAct claims can get their day in court.
Justice has been delayed long enough.
Thank you to all the Maryland child sexual abuse survivors, their families, and advocates who have persistently fought for this legislation. And thank you to General Assembly and the Maryland Supreme Court for ensuring that survivors have access to justice. 🧡⚖️
2024 ended with two new, historic child protection laws: the Native American Child Protection Act and the Jenna Quinn Law. Thank you to Senators Ben Ray Luján, Susan Collins, Ruben Gallego, John Cornyn, and Maggie Hassan for supporting children and survivors of child abuse! 🧡⚖️
Happy holidays and happy new year 🧡 This giving season, please consider supporting our mission to keep children safe from abuse and exploitation. Join us in 2025 in our fight to protect children and to get justice for survivors of child sexual abuse. https://t.co/SLwTw2O05s

We have 16 days left to get Ohio Senators to pass HB322, which would create the offense of grooming and revise the CSA civil registry and child abuse reporting requirements.
The bill had bipartisan support when it passed the Ohio house. It's time to push it through the Senate ⚖️
Yesterday, CJC National Director @enoughabuse @kathrynrobb1 spoke at the Perrin Conferences Sexual Abuse Litigation and Coverage Conference about child sexual abuse legislative updates and trends #SoKidsCanBeKids. Thank you to the co-chairs, fellow panelists, and attendees! ⚖️

CJC National Director @KathrynRobb1 testified with @ElizCarlock and Cindy Clemshire at the TX House Judiciary Committee hearing yesterday on the misuse of NDAs in CSA cases. Thanks @leachfortexas and all legislators who participated in making TX a leader on child protection.
Thank you @leachfortexas and Texas House Judiciary Committee members for your leadership and dedication to Texas children and survivors of child sex abuse!
Today I presided over a hearing of the Texas House Judiciary Committee, during which we covered a number of important topics facing our civil justice system. Most notably, we heard invited testimony relating to the use and misuse of nondisclosure agreements in child sex abuse cases — including powerful stories from my friends Cindy Clemshire & @ElizCarlock and expert testimony from @kathrynrobb1, the National Director of the Children’s Justice Campaign. Texas must lead on this issue. And we will.
Grateful to the legislators who participated and offered extremely valuable insight and input! @ShelbySlawson@moodyforelpaso@RepSchofield@VoteLuluFlores #txlege
In her @VerdictJustia Op-Ed today, CJC National Director @KathrynRobb1 writes about children’s right to be safe, what we as caring citizens can do, and what our leaders can do #SoKidsCanBeKids.

Time for the #txlege to revisit civil SOL reform so that child s*xual abuse victims can have their day in court and ensure their voices are heard. @endSOLnow#listentosurvivors
As parents prepare to send their children back to school, equipping them with new backpacks and supplies, this is a good time to equip yourself with important information to keep your child or teen safe and prevent child sexual abuse.

Natl. Director @kathrynrobb1 and @steve_jimenez_: "Chubb has no problem spending millions of dollars to sponsor the U.S. Open while simultaneously refusing to pay survivors the financial compensation they are entitled to under New York State law."

@Chubb (acquired ACE Insurance) is also a co-defendant in #KanakukFraud cases that involve civil conspiracy allegations. They and their client #Kanakuk put child s*xual abuse victims under NDAs. Insurance companies need to understand their role in protecting children vs silencing and retraumatizing them!
