Either the training sessions are too extreme on the players or the medical staff need to be looked into because this many injuries this often is not normal

Imagine having a player on the bench half the time and play around with him as LW and as a 10 then be surprised with the lack of developmentโฆ start him every game rest of the season and watch his development
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino and his coaches have been unimpressed by the development of Mykhaylo Mudryk since their arrival.

I do agree with this, the only issues I do have is the miss profiling of players, against Sheffield we had two LWs on the bench while Gallagher played in that position. Playing Colwill at LB when we had no other LBs is fair but he shouldโve gave Maatsen a chance.
In game tactics have been shocking at times, wrong kind of subs or making them too late. Half time team talks are a question mark too.
This is why I am still 'Poch In'.
1. The recruitment strategy is a LONG-TERM strategy that is being implemented by the sporting directors & the owners - NOT the manager. It has been extreme in one direction (towards signing young inexperienced players) & we now have the youngest squad in the Premier League. There is a lack of experience & leadership in this group which naturally will result in inconsistent performances. This is solely on the owners & directors due to their unbalanced recruitment plan - the manager can't be blamed for something out of his control & to note he did ask for more experienced players during an interview in pre-season which he didn't get.
2. The injury crisis has been a major problem since day 1 of the season with Chelsea losing 1091 days to injury - only Newcastle, Brentford & Brighton have lost more. This is particularly damaging in our case because we are talking about key players that would have started most games & had a major influence this season. James (captain), Nkunku, Lavia & Fofana have been out for most of the season - 29 games or more.
Carney, Chilwell, Ugochukwu, Badiashile, Chalobah, Cucurella & Sanchez have all missed 15 games or more. 8 of these 11 players have missed 60% of our games, half of them starters.
I have sympathy for him because this is largely the doing of our new owners & sporting directors but it's ingrained in the Chelsea culture to point the finger at the manager whenever things don't work immediately. We need to evolve & grow out of that mentality.
@ed_dxy @vandedd How so? I was 6 and supported a team my family supported. I watched Chelsea because I was at my godfathers and enjoyed watching Chelsea more than Fulham. Thatโs pathetic somehow?
Weโve had constant injuries at the back? James out, Badiashile in and out the medical room, Chalobahs been injured and not used due to may have been sold in the January transfer, Colwill out with injury and was used out of position due to injury, Chilwell in out and the medical room same with Cucurella, Silva is getting older so not as quick and might not be able to handle so many minutes.
How is a back line suppose to gel and develop trust and instincts when the person youโre playing next to is out for weeks at a time
The starting XI is like to see tomorrow, Chukwuemeka has been making good cameos and I feel like deserves to start. Gallagher over Caicedo just to save his legs and hold expect him to come on as a sub. Silva back in the lineup to help strengthen the back line mentally, feel like weโve missed that recently.
