Several aviation incidents occurred today in different locations:
1.Crash of a light aircraft in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE:
The UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority announced the crash of a light aircraft belonging to Al Jazirah Aviation Club in the waters off the coast of Ras Al Khaimah. The incident resulted in the death of the pilot and their companion.
2.Emergency landing of a plane in Canada:
An Air Canada flight made an emergency landing at Halifax International Airport in Nova Scotia after its landing gear malfunctioned. The plane skidded on the runway, and a fire broke out. All passengers were evacuated safely without serious injuries.
3.Plane crash in South Korea:
Jeju Air Boeing 737-800 veered off the runway while landing at Muan International Airport in South Korea, resulting in a crash that claimed the lives of most of its 181 passengers.
4.Dutch plane skids off runway in Norway:
A KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Boeing 737-800 veered off the runway after landing at Oslo Torp Sandefjord Airport, south of Norway’s capital. No injuries were reported among the 182 passengers onboard.
