This whole government is becoming a fucking clown show and every minister is chest-thumping his/her stupidity. They have given in to corporates. They could have stayed quiet on this, but no, they will take in the flying arrow and flaunt it.

[What’sInTheName? @EngineandTide]

@dgshipping_IN I’ve been waiting since 18-Aug-2026 for a response to my grievance. Emails sent to MMD Mumbai (with DGMA and [email protected] in CC) remain unanswered. Contact numbers for MMD Mumbai are either out of order or go unanswered. What should I do next?

I dare any Santhani to go to Chittorgarh Fort with a good guide, visit all the temples and see the place where Jauhar happened.
I dare, dare you to stay dry eyed.
When you touch a hot tava for 1 nano second your finger goes to your mouth of a pale of water.
These women burnt for 7 minutes. Repeat 7 minutes.
I will not say anything about this woman who spoke about Jauhar.

[Shehzad Jai Hind @Shehzad_Ind]

That’s true.

Wrong of Hindu women to have not trusted the chivalrous gentleman child rapist Khilji who was certainly a foremost champion of gender equality, feminism and rights of women. Clearly rape survivors would have gotten a new lease of life & freedom under him.

[Ranvir Shorey @RanvirShorey]

I still don’t get it! Comparing Jauhar (suicide by fire in defiance of inevitable and endless rape, violence and even necrophilia!) to rape survivors? Where’s the connection? They’re two completely different sets! The only intention can be to malign one group of people while trying to whitewash the other! Utterly shameless!

What a despicable criminal Mr Santosh Pandit is! Some of his heinous crimes include -
- Showing the potholes on Pune roads.
- Showing poor traffic enforcement of @PuneCityTraffic @PuneCityPolice
- Pointing out violations by Netas and/or Goondas
- Raising awareness about civic issues.

Of course he deserves to be arrested.

I just wish we were a democracy!

Decoding Gen. Anil Chauhan's Kirana Hills Statement: A Masterclass in Plausible Deniability and Strategic Communication

There has been a lot of discussion recently around former CDS General Anil Chauhan’s remarks on the Kirana Hills incident during Operation Sindoor. While many well-meaning citizens on social media feel that this statement contradicts the visuals of the missile strike or the earlier stance taken by the leadership, there is a deeper, much more strategic angle to his words that deserves our attention.

To understand this correctly, we must revisit the moment when the issue was first raised. When Air Marshal A.K. Bharti was questioned by journalists about targeting Kirana Hills, he brushed it off with a smirk and a lighthearted smile, casually quipping that we didn’t even know what installations were present there. That smile made it clear to everyone that he was playing a brilliant game of strategic denial.

General Anil Chauhan’s recent statement follows that exact same line of deniability, but with a different psychological delivery. Unlike Air Marshal Bharti, the former CDS maintained a completely serious note, delivering his remarks with absolute deadpan composure and without changing his facial expressions. Because there was no visible smirk or smile to give it away, many of us missed the elite operational sarcasm hidden in his words.

When General Chauhan stated that a loitering munition simply "ran out of fuel" and inadvertently hit Kirana Hills while hunting for radars, he was executing a classic piece of military diplomacy and psychological warfare. By framing the hit as an asset running out of endurance rather than a deliberate major missile strike, India achieves two crucial objectives:

International Plausible Deniability: It smoothly deflects any international or diplomatic pressure regarding the targeting of N-associated facilities.

Subtle Deterrence: It delivers a profound, straight-faced insult to the adversary, implying that their most heavily fortified, secret strategic hub is so vulnerable that even a tactical drone (essentially a shaadi-wala drone) running low on fuel can easily breach their air defences.

Our fellow citizens who are analyzing this statement are doing so out of genuine concern for the national narrative. However, military communication often operates on multiple, subtle layers. Instead of seeing this statement as a contradiction, we can view it as a highly sophisticated, multi-layered masterstroke that protects India diplomatically while keeping the strategic pressure firmly on the adversary.

A Page from History: The Art of Indian Military Sarcasm

This specific style of deadpan, high-level sarcasm is not a new tool in India's strategic playbook. In fact, our military leadership has a legendary history of deflating the adversary's ego and handling international inquiries with ultimate wit. To understand how our current decision-makers are trolling the adversary today, we only need to look back at how India famously responded to the United States during the 1965 war.

During the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965, the United States supplied Pakistan with their most advanced, expensive, and supposedly "invincible" armoured vehicles—the M47 and M48 Patton Tanks. The Pakistani military was immensely proud of this massive technological edge, believing the Indian Army had no counter to it.

However, during the historic Battle of Asal Uttar in the Khemkaran sector of Punjab, the Indian Army executed a brilliant tactical masterstroke. Indian troops deliberately flooded the local sugarcane fields with water from a nearby canal, turning the terrain into a massive, muddy marsh. When the heavy Pakistani Patton tanks rolled in, they became hopelessly bogged down in the mud.

Indian soldiers, including heroes like CQMH Abdul Hamid, utilized older World War II-era weapons and saster Recoilless (RCL) guns to ambush and obliterate the trapped tanks one by one.

India destroyed or captured nearly 100 Pakistani Patton tanks, turning the region into an open-air graveyard that famously became known as "Patton Nagar".

The sheer scale of the destruction sent shockwaves through the Pentagon. Stunned that their multimillion-dollar, state-of-the-art tanks were effortlessly taken out by India's saster, older equipment, American military officials reached out through diplomatic and military channels to ask what highly advanced anti-tank technology or secret weapon India had used to annihilate the prized Patton tanks.

The Indian side delivered a legendary, sarcastic reply that completely deflated the Western ego:

"We didn't need any high-tech weapons to deal with your tanks. We simply used our brave soldiers and saster methods. In fact, if the United States wants its precious Patton tanks back, you are welcome to buy them from us at the price of iron scrap (bhangar) by the kilogram!"

In Texas, I thanked a mechanic by saying "you are a good man of the trucks."

He did not correct me. He put it on his voicemail.

"You've reached Ray. Good man of the trucks."

His son answers the phone that way now.

Sadly, you guys couldn’t ever muster courage to even drag him to court and prove what he said was hate speech, make him apologise. However, the trope of ‘abused Sanatan’ still goes on, shamelessly.
